FABULOUS APARTMENT in a prestigious part of Shanklin and a short walk from a fantastic sandy beach stretching for miles. a wide promenade with waterfront restaurants providing live music most days, cafes and gift shops.

Shanklin centre is a 10 minutes walk away with its own railway station and bus routes to cover most of the island.

The renowned Old Village is also within walking distance with its thatched cottages, tearooms and taverns.

The apartment is newly refurbished to a good modern standard and has its own PRIVATE ENTRANCE HALL.

We are a retired couple who came to the island in 2010.

We have done holiday lets since then in our previous house in Ventnor.

Moved to Shanklin last year (2014)and we really love the area.

J Davis purchased this apartment in 2014

Why J Davis chose Shanklin

We chose Shanklin because its a beautiful area and provides us with everything you could possibly want like a beautiful large sandy beach, a good shopping center, railway station and bus routes.

Everything is in an easy walking distance and yet the house is set well back from the road with a huge parking area in front and set in nearly and acre of garden.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment has its own garden and entrance making it very private.

It boasts a good size DRYING/IRONING room AND

INDOOR SAFE BICYCLE STORAGE

Apartment clean, comfortable and an excellent location for all facilities. Shanklin very good base for the island. Southern Vectis buses very easy to use and reliable. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Would stay in this apartment and area again

Super stay

Having not been to the Isle of Wight for decades we were not sure where to stay, but we made a good choice.

The property was just right for a couple, comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen area was fine for our needs, fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven and hob with all needed to cook breakfast and dinner.

Comfortable bed and lounge/dining area and a table outside which we used as the weather was kind!

The property is conveniently located for places to eat and visit the great number of attractions the island has to offer - a week is fine, but a fortnight would be better!

The owners were very helpful with advice on where to go and eat, they waited in for us to arrive (late, due to a ferry delay) and were most welcoming.

We do plan to return in the future and have recommended this property to friends.

Cosy, clean and convenient

A nice apartment in quiet surroundings. Very well situated. There is a well stocked local Co-op a couple of minutes walk away. Ideal for walkers, the coastal path is similarly close at hand, and the railway and bus stations are a only a few minutes further away.

John and Johanne were friendly and helpful. I had a very enjoyable time, and have no hesitation in recommending the apartment.

Lovely Apartment a few minutes walk to beach

We had a lovely stay at the apartment, very close to the costal path and beach and also town centre. The owners were so accommodating and friendly could not have wished for more. Clean and tidy apartment with everything we needed.

BEAUTIFUL SCENERY, HUGE BEACH WITH ALL THE FACILITIES.

SHANKLIN CHINE IS AN ATTRACTIVE GORGE WITH A WATERFALL CUTTING THROUGH IT AND A LARGE PARK.

THE OLD VILLAGE WITH ITS THATCHED COTTAGES, QUAINT TEA ROOMS AND TAVERNS IS WELL WORTH A VISIT AND LESS THAN 10 MIN. WALK FROM US.

SANDOWN PIER WITH ITS FAIRGROUND NOT FAR AWAY.

OTHER ATTRACTIONS INCL. THE VILLAGE OF GODSHILL, THE NEEDLES, ALUM BAY, OSBORNE HOUSE, ROBIN HILL COUNTRY PARK AND BLACKGANG CHINE ( THE DISAPPEARING VILLAGE) ARE ALL WELL WORTH VISITING.
