South Farm offers 7 self catering holiday cottages in Devon with free fishing open all year set in the beautiful Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Ideal Family Holiday cottages
A games barn with badminton, table tennis, toys, books and board games is ideal for children to let off steam, whilst adults indulge in a sauna and spa or use the gym, perhaps even swim in the solar heated outdoor swimming pool after a “knock about” on our tennis court. The grounds are extensive with picnic tables and BBQ’s available and there is children’s play-area with trampoline and play tower. Close to the self catering holiday cottages are three well-stocked Carp / coarse and trout fishing lakes. The surrounding fields are where deer and buzzards roam, as night falls you may even see the badger family that often pay us an evening visit.
Nestled on gentle slopes between Honiton and Cullompton in East Devon, we offer a self contained holiday accommodation with a choice of seven self catering cottages and a large farm house with its own hot tub. South Farm is an idyllic family holiday destination within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty less than an hours drive from Exmoor or Dartmoor. The guests at South Farm holiday cottages can enjoy stunning views and share the wonderful facilities.

I loved this place!!

We stayed in the farmhouse and the whole site has everything you need to keep the children entertained. The games room covered all ages and had something for everyone. The children's painting shed was a lovely surprise and the pool was a good size too. The owners were very helpful, and couldn't do enough for you. Only thing that slightly disappointed us was that for the fishing you had to have a licence but there was no mention of this on the website. Other than that,, not one grumble and everything was perfect.

Idyllic

Beautiful property in an amazing setting. Very large, clean and comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen and facilities were great too. The swimming pool was a hit with everyone. Deb and Gary were really helpful, there if we needed them otherwise not intrusive. We stayed a week and never left the property. A perfect location for relaxing. We didn’t feel the need to go out anywhere.

Great place

Farmhouse was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. Owners were friendly and helpful. There was lots to do for adults and children. The pool, hot tub and games barn were well enjoyed. Fishing in nearby lakes was excellent. A much enjoyed family holiday. Thank you

Brilliant family break! Will be recommending to everyone!

The farmhouse was an amazing venue to rent with some other families. We had mostly teenagers and there is just so much to do with badminton, table-tennis and tennis court that the kids were never bored and was so great to see them off devices! The house is beautiful and the views and countryside around is lovely… especially when sat in the hot tub or out for a woodland walk! Even when the weather was bad… there is so much to do and plenty of room for out party of 10! The management Gary and Deb were brilliant and so helpful! I will definitely be recommending it…. Although maybe I should keep it a secret so I can book it again! Thanks so much to Gary and Deb for a really brilliant stay… even the 2 storms couldn’t effect how much we enjoyed it!
