27 Skiptory Howe is a modern, centrally heated 2 bedroom luxury lodge which sleeps 4/5* people. * there is a small fold-up foam chair bed that would be suitable for a child. The lodge has a comfortably appointed spacious lounge, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a built-in fridge freezer, oven and hob and a microwave. Master bedroom has a kingsize double bed and ensuite bathroom (shower) and twin bedded room and family bathroom (bath with shower). Large wraparound (2 sides) decking area ideal for relaxing on sunloungers (4 supplied) and for dining al-fresco. (gas bbq supplied). 40 inch, wall-mounted Samsung TV, dvd player and Bose CD and ipod docking station.

About Roger & Hazel

We live in Poulton-le-Fylde, a small market town on the outskirts of Blackpool. We love to go walking in the Lake District and our lodge is both a home-from-home and an "away from it all" retreat where we can relax and unwind and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful scenery that surrounds us. Unfortunately, due to work and other commitments, we aren't able to visit as much as we would like so have decided to let the lodge out and so we hope you enjoy staying there as much as we always do.

White Cross Bay is in an excellent location for exploring the Lake District. The lodge itself is in a very pleasant, quiet area of the White Cross Bay park but within a few minutes walking distance of the main reception/bar/restaurant/swimming pool complex and children's outdoor play areas.

Beautifully decorated and very spacious

I went with my Mum, Husband and little boy aged eight. We really enjoyed our stay can't wait to book for next year! The lodge had everything we needed there was loads of room. The onsite activities and pool were brilliant and being so close to various places meant we had a relaxing but fun filled holiday.

Amazing! Beautiful lodge in wonderful location for a relaxing family break.

Thank you for the wonderful holiday. My partner and I had a wonderful 3 night stay with our baby in this beautifully decorated lodge. The location was peaceful and pretty. The lodge was well equipped, spacious yet cosy. The owners were very helpful and provided detailed informagion about the lodge and things to do in the local area, we cant thank Roger and Hazel enough. We loved every minute of our relaxing family break and can't wait to return in the future.

Spacious, very clean and exactly as described

Property was great. Lots of room for the three of us. Both bedrooms were of a good size. Bathrooms also good. Shower in en-suite was powerful. Kitchen was fully-stocked and we were able to cook evening meals there. Shame the weather wasn't on our side - it rained a lot, so we couldn't sit outside or fire up the BBQ. But property was cosy and warm as we listened to the rain lash down on the roof! Definitely worth a stay.

Location

White Cross Bay is on the shore of Lake Windermere in the heart of the Lake District National Park. The site complex provides a bar/restaurant, shop, swimming pool, fitness centre, children's outdoor play area.

Very close to Brockhole Visitor Centre and only 4 miles from both Ambleside and Bowness-on-Windermere.

Refundable Damage Deposit £150

Changeover days are Mondays and Fridays except in school summer holiday period, when it is Saturday. Check-in time is from 1.30pm on the day of arrival and check-out time is by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
A fold-out foam bed, 5 ft 5 ins by 2 ft is available if necessary to accommodate a 5th person. However, this is most suitable for a child and could be placed in the twin bedroom at the foot of the twin beds, but would take-up most of the spare floor space.

Rates may be subject to change until a reservation is made.

A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking and the balance of 75% is payable no later than 28 days prior to check-in. This is non-refundable if you cancel within 28 days of check-in. If cancellation is between 56 days and 28 days prior to check-in 50% is refunded. If cancellation is more than 56 days from check-in the deposit 90% is refunded.

PLEASE NOTE WHITE CROSS BAY HOLIDAY PARK IS CLOSED BETWEEN 15TH JANUARY AND 29TH FEBRUARY SO OUR LODGE IS UNAVAILABLE FOR RENTAL DURING THIS PERIOD.
