One Bedroom Cottage Within Walking Distance of the Beach

f you are looking to escape the humdrum of daily life, visiting north Cornwall will be sure to revive you – and Springfield Cottage will be your perfect bolthole. You can throw away the car keys and walk to various beaches, pubs and shops, as Polzeath and Rock are very close by. Tucked away next to the Owner’s home, Springfield Cottage has a small patio-area, an open plan living-room with a well-equipped galley kitchen, and a bathroom with a corner bath. Narrow stairs lead up to the pretty bedroom with its wooden floors, crisp white bed linen and painted A-frame beams. So bring your flip flops, the surfboard, and the dog – and relax completely in this welcoming, comfortable retreat.

Amazing little find!

Fee and Charlie were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is quaint, it had everything I could think of, for a wonderful relaxing holiday. Plenty of walks nearby, so car wasn't needed. The area was perfect for us out of the hustle and bustle but close enough if needed. When we arrived we had some extra goodies which was appreciated. The jam tasted just like my aunt Katy use to make. We also had one of Fee's Lamb Tagine which was beautiful. We enjoyed the holiday so much that we have booked for next year!

small character cottage is a safe, friendly environment with all basic needs catered for

Just stayed for 2 nights, which was booked at relatively short notice. Assistance was readily available via email from the hosts prior to arrival, as difficult to get the directions from the website link which was provided after booking - best to use mobile numbers as contact number when booking as easier to follow property link. We appreciated the hastle free welcome (including some yummy treats) with simple but excellent, easy to follow information within the cottage, and safe parking on site. Relaxed feel about the place,comfortable for no more that 2 people, with plenty of space for the dog, who equally loved it, and was relaxed (very tired after frolicking on the beach!). Loved the large character bedroom. all cooking utensils there to facilitate self catering, including washing machine!) Easy walk of the beautiful beaches / coastal paths, maps provided to assist with exploration. Overall very positive first experience of treating ourselves to a cottage away. Thank-you

A cosy cottage for two within walking distance of shops and the sea

A perfect location for walking the coastal path or cycling the Camel Trail. The house is well equipped and set in a quiet garden. The ferry to Padstow is a few minutes walk away. There are pubs and shops nearby. We spent a very happy week here.

Rock is next to Polzeath, and on the opposite bank to Padstow. There is surfing, swimming, golf, great walks, waterskiing, sailing, biking on the camel trail, all within a few miles of the cottage. Great food, sandy beaches with the Cornish coast path passing through.

A beautiful place to visit, come on holiday but even better place to live, we are very lucky.
