Spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with pool and sea view

The property comprises 2 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms, 1 ensuite to the double bedroom. There are 4 beds - 1 double and 2 single - but there is a spare mattress that can be used as a fifth bed. There is a kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster and well stocked with crockery and pots and pans. The lounge is spacious with 2 settees, a dining area with a table and 4 chairs, bookcase well stocked with books that may be borrowed and TV and DVD player. Balcony with beautiful views over the pool, gardens and with a sea view. Please feel free to take the deck chairs on the balcony down to the pool.

About The Owner

My family and I have lived all our lives in Kent and currently live in Wilmington. We purchased the flat last year having holidayed there for 13 years, so it is like our second home

Why The Owner chose Arroyo de la Miel

We love the apartment as we have been going there for family holidays for 13 years. The apartment is in a Spanish residential block, with a pool and lovely gardens. The benefit of it being in a Spanish block is that the pool is often totally empty for most of the day and is very quiet. We like the fact that there are only a few other English families so we really can get away from it all and unwind.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is on the first floor and has a beautiful view over the pool and gardens and the sea in the distance. We have spent many an evening watching the lit up boats in the distance and the lights twinkling all round the coast. It is very easy to get to, being just a 20 minute train ride from Malaga airport and then a 10 minute walk or taxi to the apartment. It has a supermarket at the end of the road and is only a 5 minute walk into town to the many shops and restaurants. There is also a childrens playground, which was a must every night after dinner for our children when they were young.

Excellent apartment!

Our family of 4 spent 10 very enjoyable days at this apartment. Excellent value and very clean and spacious with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Great pool and the surrounding gardens are beautifully kept and provided some welcome shade from the sun! Keith and the owner Lynn, were a pleasure to deal with. There's a supermarket just a short stroll away and numerous shops, bars and places to eat all within easy walking distance. We took the train direct from Malaga airport to Arroyo/Benalmadena station and were at the apartment within 25 minutes. Would definately recommend and hope to go back soon!

Flat very spacious only 5 mins walk to arroyo.very clean and uncluttered.

Would have awarded 5 stars if it had wifi and sky tv.

Very quite residential area.swimming pool to ourselves when we were there.Would definitely go back.

Fab apartment good position

Apartment was beautifully clean gardens and pool well cared for too. Everything you needed in apartment and supermarket close by. Picked up by Keith who was very helpfull. In all fab stay.

Location

Car: not necessary

Tivoli World theme park is about 25 minutes walk away, as is a cable car and a sea life centre. There is a water park a bus/train ride away. Paloma Park is a 20 minute walk away. 15 mins on the train is the large shopping centre of Plaza Mayor, and both Torremolinos and Fuengirola are only a 15-20 min train journey. Malaga town is just the other side of the airport, which is well worth a visit. A 15 minute bus ride away is Benalmadena Pueblo, a quaint and typical old Spanish town, with pretty little white streets, a church and stuning views over the Benalmadena and Mijas costas. Just a bit further along on the bus and up into the mountains is Mijas, again full of little winding streets, and many shops and restaurants. You can take a horse and cart ride along its pretty streets
