About Mary-Ann Nossent

Fell in love with Wales after a holiday here. Born in Wiltshire, moved to London and then Kent. Very keen gardener growing most of our own veg at our home in Foelgastell. Mike and I have 6 children between us and one dog a border collie called Lwcus (Welsh for lucky). Mike is a Rights of Way Lawyer and I am a Equality Consultant mainly working in Neighbourhood Development Plans

Mary-Ann Nossent purchased this house in 2015

Why Mary-Ann Nossent chose Llannon

Tumble is a very authentic Welsh village with very friendly people. The house is an ex miners cottage which has been extended to provide a larger kitchen and bathroom. It is in a lovely setting with a recreation ground just behind the house with fabulous views of the hills and towards the black mountains. There are walks you can take without having to get in the car and the village itself has loads of amenities. It is a really great base to explore the area.

What makes this house unique

94 is a really sweet house. We looked at a number before seeing this one and just fell in love with it straight away

94 High Street, a 'Home from Home' :0)

Stayed for a long weekend over Easter along with lovely husband, whilst competing with my dog at Pembrey Park.

Excellent communication from owner prior to stay, easy booking and payment process through HomeAway.

Just a short distance from the M4 and ideal location for exploring West Wales.

The cottage was so warm and cosy, perfect for a couple or small family and super pet friendly. Dog bowls, towels and even some food and treats in the cupboard.

Ample parking, fully enclosed garden and cracking walks right on the doorstep.

Lovely treats on arrival with an Easter theme :0)

Really loved staying here and will definitely book again.

Comfortable cottage for dogs and their owners, excellent value.

  • 5 of 5

We were made to feel welcome and appreciated, the house was warm, clean and well equipped, and very reasonably priced considering all the extras provided. The area is possibly not the prettiest part of Wales but there is plenty to see and do and the Gower beaches are not too far away.

Warm cozy and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for four nights whilst the Beast from the East raged. But we were warm and comfortable. House was clean tidy and above all so welcoming. Everything you could possibly require in the kitchen. We were welcomed with Home made bread and Welsh cakes and milk. Nice sized bathroom with fluffy towels. Bedroom was spacious and had chest of drawers and wardrobe. Dogs had towels and bowls provided. The instructions to obtain the keys were concise and clear and were provided well in advance. We managed to get out and about during our stay. Llanelli and the Gower are easily reachable as is St Clear and the must see National Botanical Garden. Fish and chip in Tumble is worth a visit. BUT beware of the hill down to the shops and more to the point the drag back up!!! We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to visit again. Our host was approachable and so kind yet non instructive. An utter delight all round.

Home away from home

I made this place my base for some Horse Assisted Teaching in nearby Pontyberem. Very clean. Well equipped household. Nicely furnished. On arrival I was welcomed with fresh bread, milk and yummy Welsh cakes. Telly and Netflix made the day of a youngster joining us. Nice little garden with picnic table and bbq. Easy acces to cycling path 47. Fantastic fish and chip shop in town. Make sure you go there!
