Spacious, character 4 bedroom house with garden, extends to accomodate 14

Cliffton Villa is split over 4 floors with views of the sea from the upper floors. The lower ground floor has one large double bedroom with an additional double sofa bed, large TV room with double sofa bed, utility room and generously proportioned bathroom. The ground floor holds one large reception room, with a double sofa bed, kitchen, and dining room. The1st floor holds 2 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, some with views of the sea; the 2nd floor holds one bedroom with 2 single beds. Recently redecorated and fitted with new appliances.

The property is perfect for multiple large family groups, with patio and BBQ area as well as a spacious garden. It is perfect for families with children, well stocked with DVD's and games and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Well-behaved pets can be accommodated providing they remain in lower ground and ground floors.

Located on a quiet but central street, it is minutes walk from a large range of restaurants, bars and shops, plus many additional activities from water-sports to music and entertainment. There are year-round festivals, from the famous folk festival in the summer to the increasingly popular food fairs during winter months.

Garage space is available for storage of bikes, surf boards, wetsuits , kayaks, fishing tackle and beach paraphernalia.

A welcome pack is provided on arrival.

We felt the accomadation was brilliant with some very thoughtful touches eg things for kids to do when it was raining. What would be good though : some seats in the garden

Spacious!

Great house in a quiet street very close to beach and promenade. All bedrooms were spacious and and comfortable. Lovely garden and Bbq area. The kitchen was great and everything worked very well. We were blessed with the weather and very much enjoyed the beach. House was perfect as it was very easy to pop back during the day if required. If we plan to go back to Broadstairs I would defiantly go back to this house.

Great house if all your party are fully mobile

Hired the house for three generations of family and although I realised the house was not ideal for our parents I thought it could work with them on the ground floor. Instantly discovered the stairs to the ground floor were very steep, narrow and uncarpeted with no hand rail so our parents couldn't sleep there. The only shower not over a bath was downstairs so they also couldn't shower or get to the garden. Whole three days a bit of a nightmare as it was taking us 20 minutes to get parents up and down stairs to the first floor - stairs also very steep and numerous. We had to stay out late each night to ensure parents could access a toilet and didn't get too exhausted on the stairs so no real relaxing in the house was possible for us.

Kids loved the attic room and kids and dog loved the garden (garden walled and secure for dogs). No one living room had enough seating for us (6-7 max.). Parking on street which is very busy and narrow - cars mount narrow curb to get past so unloading and loading car was challenging.

Impractical if you have any not fully mobile members in your party. Lovely house but only for groups with no elderly or very young members.

Well located & spacious accomodation though a slightly unusual & not always practical lay out.

We visited Ramsgate to visit my aunt who was celebrating her 80th birthday. I had my own family (wife & 2 children, 2 & 5 years old & 1 year old Cocker Spaniel) & my parents in tow so needed a house with plenty of space & conveniently located to both amenities & the beach. Clifton Villas certainly ticked all those boxes as we were only 5 minutes walk from both the beach & the High Street. Whilst not the best time of year we enjoyed Broadstairs & the surrounding area which has plenty to offer. The house was spacious though the configuration of rooms was unusual & did mean plenty of stairs which was not ideal for both elderly parents & small children. The garden however was ideal for both children & dog. Parking was sometimes a challenge as a bit too narrow directly outside the house but did manage to park relatively close the majority of time. Only other criticism was the lack of WiFi though I understand this is available if the code was made available. We enjoyed our stay & the house certainly met with all our needs.
