About the property

Previously part of the Stoodleigh Estate our Victorian Land Agent’s house is around 110 years old and is full of character.

The house is located just 6 miles from Tiverton where you will find a large selection of independent shops, supermarkets, cinema and the usual town amenities.

The village of Stoodleigh has a church, a village hall, a pub with garden, a cricket square, small park and some lovely countryside walks. Stoodleigh is also close to many country pubs all serving great food and fine ales.

From the house Exmoor National Park is only a 15 minute drive, Exmoor Zoo is a 40 minute car journey away. At a shorter distance, Bickleigh Mill, an 18th century watermill and pottery studio is 11 miles away. The historic city of Exeter is also 30 minutes’ drive away. We are only 45 minutes from 3 coast lines so you have a choice of beaches! Cornwall can be reached in under an hour. We also have lots of great local walks and many places to visit for both young and old. Trains regularly into Bristol and to London in 2 hours.

This six-bedroom house offers a kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, and oven. The house features two breakfast rooms, two living rooms with Sky TV, and a Wii games console.

Our property is a B&B throughout the year so we can provide numerous reviews for short term stays on request.

However, this will be our first year for renting out the whole house so as yet we do not currently have any reviews from them.
