A self-catering rental away from it all

Small house in quite surroundings with private pool and magnificent views to the valley and mountains.

The house care has been thought specially for couples seeking for a romantic place.

From the house there is a road that goes up to the parking area in the village of La Solana Utiaca. A two minute walk, this small village has two grocery stores and a bar-restaurant, but for a wider range of services we have the villages of St. Bridget and St. Matthew 5 kilometers.

The city of Las Palmas de G.C. is only 20km distance and with a radius of about 30 minutes drive reaches a wide range of beaches as Melenara, Quarry or San Andres where you also have the opportunity to spend the day in family and eat fresh fish in restaurants in the area. The Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas is a 15 minute drive from the house and is located next to the stunning Bandama Caldera, a volcanic crater 200 feet deep, in which peak is a vantage point that offers a breathtaking view of the island.

From the house, a narrow footpath winds its way up to the parking area and the village above of Solana de Utiaca. Within walking distance, this small village has a grocery store, although for a greater selection of amenities Santa Brígida and the market town of Vega de San Mateo is a 15-minute drive.

The city of Las Palmas and so the coastline is only at 20km. Within 30 minutes drive, a great variety of beaches can be reached, all of them away from mass tourism. Melenara, Las Canteras or San Andrés give you the opportunity to spend the day in the beach in a family mood with the local people. Then, with the sunset, you may enjoy a dinner of fresh fish at any of the inexpensive restaurants around the area.

The Real Club de Golf the Las Palmas is within 15-minute drive of the villa next to the stunning Caldera de Bandama, a 200-meter-deep volcanic crater, on whose peak you will find an observation platform that affords you a scenic vista of the island. Kill two birds with one stone!

A beautiful peaceful hideaway for two!

We enjoyed 10 nights in this cute little house hidden away on the side of a valley. The pool was perfect for cooling down in the hot September sunshine. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, in particular a barbecue with a breathtaking view! The drive down to the house is pretty treacherous, so we chose to leave our hire car at the top! The position is perfect for exploring the whole island, which we would definitely recommend. Beatriz was very helpful, both before and during our holiday. Be prepared for visiting lizards, the ultimate in peace and quiet, and the perfect spot for a total break away from the norm! Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house

As others have said, Tres Almendros is a very special place. We found it very quiet and relaxing in a part of Gran Canaria that seems very far away from the mainstream holiday experience. Beatriz couldn't have been more helpful supplying lots of insider tips about the most interesting places to go and the best places to eat. The approach to the house seemed daunting at first but after a practice with Beatriz it wasn't a problem. We hired a car for the fortnight and really enjoyed using Tres Almendros as a base to explore the island. We also enjoyed days just sitting by (or in) the private pool looking down into the valley. Highly recommended as a quiet getaway - thanks Beatriz.

Perfect quiet rural villa in a beautiful setting.

Perfect getaway in a well equipped clean comfortable rural house. Beautiful views over the valley and the terrace and pool area exactly like the photos. Beatriz was lovely and very helpful to us and always responded immediately to messages. The village has no restaurant to walk to but there is a small shop for essentials. San Mateo and Santa Brigida are a short drive away with good food shops and restaurants. This area of Gran Canaria is very lovely and we can highly recommend this property for peace and tranquillity.

Excellent views

It was a great well equipped villa very well supported by the manager. The views of the mountains were spectacular, unfortunately we were there when the weather was bad, so didn't get the full appreciation. In colder weather it was a bit cool and damp inside, but in warmer weather of which we had some, it was all you wanted. A bit precarious to get to by car or walking for the less able.
