About Wayne Manning

My Wife and I were born in Barbados and have lived here all our life. I run a Civil Works Construction Company, and my Wife is a Marketing Administrator. We have two wonderful kids, and we live 5 minutes drive from the Apartment.

Why Wayne Manning chose Sunset Crest

Golden View has been here for many years. It is one of the few locations that have so many amenities within a 1/2 mile radius. We grew up near to the beach and our critical issue while searching for a property was to own a property in St. James and also one that was close to where we live and to the beach.

What makes this condo unique

The unit has everything that you would need in the way of catering. Being a cook myself I was quite impressed with the well-appointed kitchen, appliances and the ease of connectivity within the Apartment. If you are not a cook, there are at least ten restaurants within a 1/2 mile of the property you can choose from. The main Apartment opens onto a sizable patio which overlooks the gardens and and large shared swimming pool. The Sandy Crest Medical Clinic is also within 5 minutes walking distance as well as a pharmacy on the same compound. This proximity of this medical facility is very reassuring.

Great apartment on ground floor.

Nice apt, great location on the ground floor, steps away from the pool and large garden. With the patio doors opening right up and the garden it made the apt feel large. Check in took seconds. Kitchen is well equipment with everything you need to make meals. Lovely breeze throughout when you open the bedroom windows and patio doors. Good water pressure and hot water. Comfy bed had no trouble sleeping. Air conditioner in bedroom, great for cooling the room down at night, then ceiling fan kept it that way. Safe and washing machine in suite and plenty of clothes line on the patio. Great wifi. Maid came once during our stay, nice surprise.

Huge pool we had to ourselves most days. Lots of loungers and plenty of shade under the trees. Had monkeys in the garden each morning eating mangos from the trees.

Within easy walk of beach, stores, restaurants and bus route.

Good communication with owner, fast response.

Very quiet, mostly an older crowd, which suited us. This would make a great long term rental for snow birds. We hope to be back.

Lovely apartment in superb condo - great value for money

Stayed in this apartment for the second year running and had a fabulous holiday. The apartment is on the ground floor giving easy access to the pool area. It is well equipped and well furnished. Weekly maid service is included and the apartment has its own internet which is really useful. Location is superb - only a 5 minute walk from the beach and local bars and restaurants. Wayne (the owner) lives locally and couldn't be more welcoming and accommodating. Excellent value for money!

Clean, quiet, and a good value

I spent the 2nd half of March 2017 in this apartment and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. This was my 4th visit to this complex, but my first in this unit. I loved the ground floor access to the pool and restaurant area...it was so convenient.

I can't understand a previous review, as the apartment was well maintained and impeccably cleaned when I arrived.

Wayne couldn't have been more accommodating. On arrival we noted that there was no coffee maker. It was late afternoon when I checked in and contacted wayne to let him know we had arrived. I mentioned the coffee maker, and the very next morning (8am) when I went out to the lobby, the receptionist handed me a parcel. It was a new coffee maker that wayne had gone out and purchased that same night! If this unit hadn't already been booked for the same period next year I would have re-booked before leaving.

I definitely recommend this apartment.

Stay away

Not worth a try , yes it's simple , simpley poor , everything is old ,broken or dirty . And the owners do not understand how to run the apartment , Iand treat there guests.I also have photos if required, no you could not forget this apt .

A comfortable ground floor apartment, with easy access to garden and pool, and close to the beach.

We had a fabulous, relaxing holiday, staying in our favourite part of Barbados. The apartment is well appointed and uncluttered - the feeling of space was increased by having the nearby garden picnic table and chairs exclusively to ourselves for the fortnight, so they became effectively an extension of the apartment. Similarly, each day there were several hours when no-one else was in the 25 metre pool. We have stayed in other apartments in Goldenview on different floors, but this is certainly the best we have experienced.

The apartment is about 5 or 6 minutes walk from four different beaches, a wide range of shops, and some excellent restaurants and bars.We have rented a car on previous holidays but did not this time and used the buses and occasional taxis to go wherever we wanted.

Definitely an apartment to return to.
