Comfortable house classified 3 stars located in the village of Barfleur classified among the most beautiful villages in France. Located on the beach with magnificent views of the sea and the lighthouse of Gatteville.

On the ground floor :
Large living room: living / dining room with wood stove, TV and kitchen area with dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, microwave, ceramic hob, fridge oven with freezer compartment.
Large wooden terrace, a toilet and a bathroom accessible from the outside (ideal for beach returns).

Upstairs :
1 bedroom with 1 bed of 160 and a bedroom with 2 beds of 80. Shower room with WC. (+ 10 euros per additional bed).

Deposit of 200 euros requested on arrival + 10 € / additional bed (the price already includes the preparation of a bed, if you wish 1 or 2 more beds, please tell us to adjust the price).

A perfect place for a stay in Barfleur

A very well appointed property with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Immaculately presented and very clean. We were staying in November so the very efficient log burner was put to good use. The owners made us most welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed using the vegetables given to us from their extensive vegetable garden. The property is very well situated for the beach and only a few hundred yards into the delightful village of Barfleur.

Perfect !

Perfect, in an enviable situation in the older part of this beautiful town. The property is a well executed contemporary conversion of an older building well appointed and equipped. The owners who live adjacent are very helpful without being overbearing. Plenty of walks from the house along this rugged coast and within easy reach of the D-Day beaches. Barfleur has most facilities and we found the resteraunts reasonable and of good quality, especially the seafood. We would love to return

An excellent property with exceptional hosts.

Jean and Suzanne immediately made us feel welcome. My son loved speaking to them in French and they were very patient and encouraging of his efforts. They both have a warm, caring manner and have great sense of humours. They were also very generous, sharing produce from their garden. Jean and Suzanne were approachable and helpful when we needed any advice or someone to help interpret for us. The gite was absolutely immaculate, well stocked with everything you would need to cook a family meal. The appliances are in top condition. The beds were very comfortable. The views are stunning and the gite is set in a situation where you have privacy. The shops , restaurants and harbour are a couple of minutes walk and the beach is literally across the road. Barfleur is a beautiful place to stay and is a good base for exploring the surrounding area. We had a thoroughly nice stay and Jean and Suzanne have a special place in my heart. I hope they will have my family back because I am already hoping to return. Thank you so much for everything. It was wonderful.

Lovely place to stay

The gite was everything we hoped for ,well equipped,and ideal for 4, our friends from Australia were delighted,and loved Normandy, we would recommend this gite to all our friends thank you,
