This three bedroom townhouse is of the largest style on the very popular El Divino complex, stretching over three floors AND has it's own private garden with front & back terraces. The house comfortably sleeps 6 adults + a baby in the cot provided. The house is ideal for families with young children as it has been made to be very child friendly, with lots of equipment including stair-gates fitted top & bottom of the marble staircase, a travel cot, bed guard, high chair, potty & kids loo seat, changing mat & much more. The house is very well equipped & furnished to a very high standard with a brand new fitted kitchen installed in Summer 2014. The whole house is very well equipped & comfortably furnished. There are three spacious bedrooms all with wardrobes & ceiling fans, of which two with private balconies. The master bedroom has a double bed and there are two further twin rooms. Fully equipped newly fitted kitchen opens onto the private rear terrace. Very large living/dining area, two bathrooms (one on ground floor). Main bathroom upstairs is very spacious with a large corner bath & second bathroom is a shower room on the ground floor, ideal for the use of downstairs bedroom occupants. Private terraces front & back and private garden complete with table and chairs to the front, large private roof solarium with sunbeds, table/chairs, BBQ & views to the mountains. The complex's secure gated gardens accommodate two large pools, with separate children's pools, ideal for family holidays. El Divino complex is ideally located at just 10 minutes from Murcia airport & 45min from Alicante. In a peaceful area, 10 mins stroll from the beautiful Mar Menor beach & just a 5 minute stroll walk to plenty of local bars, shops, supermarkets & many restaurants. You most definitely do not need to hire a car if you do not want to as everything you need is well within walking distance.

Mar Menor: The gently sloping shallow waters of the Mar Menor mean it is much warmer than the Mediterranean, making it safer for young children as it is very placid & there is very good visibility across the water.You can walk out for many metres with the warm water still only lapping your thighs & no big waves, no tides or strong currents, so you can relax & enjoy your day at the beach. With the many cafes & bars dotted along the beach it's a great way to spend the day & soak up the sun. Every kind of water sport is available!

The mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor is renowned for its health-giving properties & there are nearby thermal baths which have existed since Roman times. The very salty water in the Mar Menor lagoon (San Pedro round to La Manga) is supposed to be very good to bathe in, especially for skin conditions. Many people come to the northern end of the Mar Menor to cover themselves in the black mud from the salinas, which is supposed to be full of all sorts of nutrients.

Flights & Transfers: Costa Calida is now more accessible than ever with numerous low cost airlines flying into both Murcia (San Javier MJV) & Alicante from all over the UK. There is a 2nd airport planned shortly just outside Murcia city itself.

Shopping/Leisure: Los Alcazares was named after the palaces that stood in medieval times & is still unspoilt, retaining much of its original Spanish charm. Most of the narrow streets lead directly to the 7 km, sandy Blue Flag beach. There are plenty of restaurants & beach bars providing a wide range of cuisine. Los Alcazares offers a non-package-tour environment. With its wonderful all year round climate it has something for all seasons. The town's market days are Tuesday & Saturday when a wide variety of goods are available. There are also many modern high street shops & shopping malls within easy reach. The historic city of Murcia, is only 30 minutes by car, with its many squares & narrow streets & the city of Cartagena, which is only 15 minutes drive away, are both well worth exploring for their shops, architecture and history. A 40 minute drive will take you to Elche's vast shopping complex, where you can buy locally-made shoes (only available from Bond Street couture houses) at vastly reduced price

What a fantastic holiday we had! The house was very clean and well layed out and was just like being home from home!! This was our first family holiday with our 2 children aged 3 and 2yrs. (the eldest being in a full leg cast!!") there was everything there that we could poss need from stairgates to potties and even a buggy! The neighbours were very friendly and gave us hints and tips about the area and even played with the children on the terrace! It is a lovely community and everyone is very friendly and says "Hola" Andrea has really got this property and equipment to a very high standard, she was very helpfull when we asked questions and we recieved plenty of information regarding the house, area, restaurants and attractions. The beach is lovely and has a path all the way along if you don't want to get sand between your toes!! There are also plenty of childrens parks dotted around which also came in handy. Plenty of places to stop and have drink and bite to eat, we went to El Patio it was fantastic! Like Andrea says it looks nothing from the outside but the food is excellent- you have to try the meat cooked on hot stone! We enjoyed it so much we went back for another visit! Another place you get a good sandwich is The Pasty Shack if you fancy a sandwich try the ham on the bone sandwich! Really nice and the owners are lovely too. We would certainly recommend this property to families it is fantastic value for money and you can relax knowing your children are safe playing on the front terrace as it has secure gates which can be locked. Brilliant. We loved it so much we have booked again for 2010! Fantastic.

Perfect for families

Wonderful property that is well set up for those who have a young family. Everything you could possibly need for young children was there including cot sides, high chair and stair gates. Easy, flat, walk to the shops and the beach. We hired a car and saw a little more of the area which has lots to offer for all ages. When we return we will definitely be booking this property again.

Have just returned from staying 10 days in Andi's house and am missing it already.

This is a excellent holiday home is really well equipped, clean and tidy and in a lovely area. Being two older couples we did not need all the equipment that there is for children, but we may have to return with grandchildren one day to make use of all this. We did use the shopping trolley though to go to the supermarket. It was also very nice of Andi to arrange for a welcome pack for us especially when we didn't arrive until evening. The pool area is excellent and lovely and clean. We ate out every night at various restaurants and didn't have one bad meal, we particularly liked Run,(the restaurant that did chinese, vietman etc) Veni , Patio IV and the Italian one that seems to be connected to the 525 Hotel. Would definitely go again to this area and hopefully stay in Andi's house.

Perfect for a family holiday

The house is exceptionally clean and well equipped. Providing beach and bath towels is such a bonus and made packing easier. We had a fun holiday at Casa Lola, making the most if the beautiful pool area every day - amazingly it never seemed crowded - and going down to the lovely beach. The choice of restaurants for the evening were great. It's so convenient to walk into town and then choose from a huge range of restaurants. We loved Asiatica, a Chinese restaurant that served lovely food. The property is perfect for a family holiday and we had a brilliant time. Thank you so much!

Relaxing break

The family go to Spain

Well we at last managed a family holiday abroad; and it was good! The house was just as described and big enough for six adults (three couples). It was clean, comfotable and well equiped. The booking with Andi was very easy and if we go back to Los Alcazares we will certainly try and book this accomodation.

It was easy to get a taxi from the airport and we arranged the taxi back with the taxi rank down at the main road. It arrived five miutes early so no worries about failure to turn up. We did hire a car and travelled down to Cabo de Palos which has a lovely beach and some nice restaurants on the harbour. We also caught the train to Cartagena from Los Nietas (dirt cheap 16 euros for six adults return). Don't go on Mondays as Castle shut. All in all a very good holiday.

Los Alcazares pronounced 'los-alcatha-res' is situated in the Murcia region of Spain's Costa Calida. The town sits on the western shore of the Mar Menor, a huge saltwater lagoon separated from the Med by a 22 km strip of land called La Manga. The area enjoys ave 320 days of sunshine each year to it's blue flag beaches. Bars, cafes & restaurants provide drinks, tapas, meals & entertainment. The warm water of the Mar Menor (ave 1-3 degrees warmer than the Med) helps make the town a paradise for bathers & water sports enthusiasts. Golf: Compared to other villa's for rent on the La Manga complex, this offers very good value for money, saving 40% in some cases. With La manga only a short drive away, and with it's own 3 golf courses, state of the art tennis complex, casino and fine restaurants (all open to non-residents), this is a cost-effective alternative place to stay, with no compromise in the standard of the accommodation.

There are no less than seven golf courses (four of international standard) well within 30 minutes drive, & an impressive 23 courses within the CostaBlanca/Costa Calida coastline which cater for all handicap levels.
