Casa Lola is a spacious and welcoming three bedroom townhouse and is of the largest style on the very popular El Divino complex, conveniently situated in the Pueblo Patricia area of Los Alcazares. Stretching over three floors AND it has it's own private roof solarium, front garden as well as front and back terraces.

The house comfortably sleeps 6 adults plus a baby in the cot provided and is is ideal for families with young children as it has been made to be very child friendly, with lots of equipment including stair-gates fitted top and bottom of the marble staircase, a travel cot, bed guard, high chair, potty and even kiddies loo seat, changing mat, toys, DVD's and much more.

The house is very well equipped, furnished to a very high standard with a brand new fitted kitchen installed in Summer 2015.

Pay-as-you-go high-speed Wifi available for the convenience of our guests for either all of part of your stay - a very economical alternative to buying multiple data packages for each member of the family! Please ask for prices.

The whole house is very well equipped and comfortably furnished. There are three spacious bedrooms in total, two are twin rooms and the third is a large master double. Two of the bedrooms have private balconies, whilst the third has views out over the rear terrace. All with large fitted or Ikea wardrobes, Ikea drawers and very powerful remote control ceiling fans,. The master bedroom has a double bed, large fitted wardrobe, Ikea drawers, full-length mirror and a safe for your valuables within the concrete floor of the wardrobe - very secure! It also has stairs leading off the private balcony up to the very large roof solarium above.

A fully equipped newly fitted Ikea kitchen opens onto the private rear terrace. The house also has a very large living/dining area with large corner sofa. There are two bathrooms, one is a shower room, complete with a loo and wash basin, situated on the ground floor, therefore easily accessible for guests staying in the ground floor bedroom. The second bathroom is upstairs and is very large with a loo, wash basin, shower and a large corner bath.

We have private outdoor terraces at the front and back of the house and a private sunny south-facing front garden complete with sunbeds and a table and chairs on the front terrace, shaded by a large roll-out Toldos (awning) to the front of the house if you need it. There is also a large private roof solarium with sunbeds, chairs, BBQ & views to the mountains.

The complex's secure gated gardens accommodate two large pools, both with separate children's pools, ideal for family holidays.

El Divino complex is ideally located at just 5 minutes drive from Murcia MJV airport or 45 minutes drive from Alicante ALC airport.

We are in a very a peaceful area, just 10 minutes stroll from the beautiful Mar Menor beach and just a 5 minute stroll walk to plenty of local bars, shops, supermarkets and the 525 Plaza with it's many fabulous restaurants. The old town of Los Alcazares is just a 15 minute walk away or you can catch the mini train there and/or back that operates throughout the Summer months.

You most definitely do not need to hire a car if you do not wish to as everything you need is well within walking distance.

Mar Menor: The gently sloping shallow waters of the Mar Menor mean it is much warmer than the Mediterranean, making it safer for young children as it is very placid and there is very good visibility across the water.You can walk out for many metres with the warm water still only lapping your thighs and no big waves, no tides or strong currents, so you can relax and enjoy your day at the beach. With the many cafes and bars dotted along the beach it's a great way to spend the day and soak up the sun. Every kind of water sport is available!

The mineral-rich water of the Mar Menor is renowned for its health-giving properties and there are nearby thermal baths which have existed since Roman times. The very salty water in the Mar Menor lagoon (San Pedro round to La Manga) is supposed to be very good to bathe in, especially for skin conditions. Many people come to the northern end of the Mar Menor to cover themselves in the black mud from the salinas, which is supposed to be full of all sorts of nutrients.

Flights and Transfers: Costa Calida is now more accessible than ever with numerous low cost airlines flying into both Murcia (San Javier MJV) & Alicante (ALC) from all over the UK and Europe. Fly to Murcia from all over the UK & EIRE on the numerous low cost carriers, and with the resort and complex only a 5 minute taxi ride away form MJV airport, you won't waste time on lengthy transfers to your end destination.

Shopping/Leisure: Los Alcazares was named after the palaces that stood in medieval times and is still un-spoilt, retaining much of its original Spanish charm. Most of the narrow streets lead directly to the 7 km, sandy Blue Flag beach. There are plenty of restaurants and beach bars providing a wide range of cuisine. Los Alcazares offers a non-package-tour environment. With its wonderful all year round climate it has something for all seasons. The town's market days are Tuesday and Saturday when a wide variety of goods are available. There are also many modern high street shops and shopping malls within easy reach. The beautiful historic city of Murcia, is only 30 minutes by car, with its many squares & narrow streets. The famous historical city of Cartagena is only 15 minutes drive away. Both are well worth exploring for their shops, architecture and history. A 15-20 minutes drive away is the fabulous Zenia Boulevard shopping centre, open 365 days a year! All the best shops and some fabulous restaurants. A 10 minute drive away we has Dos Mares shopping complex and it's lovely shops and restaurants and a bowling alley! A 40 minute drive will take you to Elche's vast shopping complex, where you can buy locally-made shoes (only available from Bond Street couture houses) at vastly reduced prices.

When I first viewed this property I fell in love with it! It was perfect for my family in size and location. The pool is ideal for children and families and the house is very secure for small children. I also wanted to be able to walk everywhere - to the beach, supermarket and shops, bars and restaurants and not have to rely on hiring a car. This property is perfect for that exact reason.

What makes this house unique

The house is in a lovely family orientated complex & only a few minutes walk from all amenities & the beach, which meant not having to rely on hiring a car - Ideal with the airport only being a 5 minute taxi ride away - Perfect! :-)

Portable radiators to use on winter evenings. Secure gated pools & gardens for sole use of the residents, accessible via rear terrace passageway. Los Alcazares beach is blue flag & very safe, the water is very shallow no tides or waves making it ideal for children. Many beach bars serve snacks & drinks along the edge of the beautiful promenade. 6 beach towels inc. No smoking in the property, however on front/rear patio areas & solarium is acceptable. Very spacious roof solarium with sun all day, perfect for sunbathing, complete with BBQ, patio table & 6 chairs, parasol, & 2 sunbeds with views out to the mountains- just perfect for watching the sunset over a bottle of wine.

What a fantastic holiday we had! The house was very clean and well layed out and was just like being home from home!! This was our first family holiday with our 2 children aged 3 and 2yrs. (the eldest being in a full leg cast!!") there was everything there that we could poss need from stairgates to potties and even a buggy! The neighbours were very friendly and gave us hints and tips about the area and even played with the children on the terrace! It is a lovely community and everyone is very friendly and says "Hola" Andrea has really got this property and equipment to a very high standard, she was very helpfull when we asked questions and we recieved plenty of information regarding the house, area, restaurants and attractions. The beach is lovely and has a path all the way along if you don't want to get sand between your toes!! There are also plenty of childrens parks dotted around which also came in handy. Plenty of places to stop and have drink and bite to eat, we went to El Patio it was fantastic! Like Andrea says it looks nothing from the outside but the food is excellent- you have to try the meat cooked on hot stone! We enjoyed it so much we went back for another visit! Another place you get a good sandwich is The Pasty Shack if you fancy a sandwich try the ham on the bone sandwich! Really nice and the owners are lovely too. We would certainly recommend this property to families it is fantastic value for money and you can relax knowing your children are safe playing on the front terrace as it has secure gates which can be locked. Brilliant. We loved it so much we have booked again for 2010! Fantastic.

Very well located

We had a lovely holiday the house is very well equipped & in a central location you don't actually need a car. We were delighted with the welcome food pack as we arrived late & all the grocery stores were closed. There is an extensive list in the house of places to eat & places to visit, we tried several of the recommended restaurants & all were as recommended. We have one complaint & that is there is no wifi, it made things rather difficult for us at times. Overall this is a great house for families

It is such a bonus being so centrally located and the fact that guests do not need to bother with having to hire a car to get around. And the free of charge welcome pack is always a welcome sight for arriving travellers. I do take on board your comments regarding the Wifi, however I had actually installed this into the house just three days after you departed (as I was there myself the week following your stay). This installation had been planned for quite a while, so now my guests also have the benefit of internet access if they require it. Hopefully this will go on to ensure many more happy guests in the future.

Perfect for young and old!!

We stayed in Casa Lola for the new year, myself and my wife, 2 girls 8 & 5 and my parents both in there 80's.

We loved the house, the area, the pool and the weather, the girls even went for a swim on New Year's Day!!! The ground floor bedroom and shower room were perfect for my parents as my father struggles with stairs, the upstairs rooms were plenty big enough with a huge family bathroom. The newly fitted kitchen was great and catered for the few nights we ate in with ease.

The local bars and restaurants in the square are within easy walking distance and the supermarket is close by too as is the beach, we spent some time in the local area and also visited the Flamingos at San Pedro and the beautiful city of Cartegena 1/2 hour drive away.

We found the whole experience perfect, the key holder met us as arranged and showed us around, the house was clean and well presented clean towels and bed linen provided meant we didn't need to bring them as additional luggage and the girls were happy they could watch CBeebies on the tv. When we left once again the key holder met us as arranged and everything went smoothly.

Overall a great experience and a great house, we will be back again when we next visit Spain.

Home from Home.

We stayed here to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary with family who live in the area. The property is a lovely clean and comfortable house within easy walking distance to shops, markets, cafés and beach areas and all on the flat, a novelty for us living in a hilly area. The property is very close to Murcia's San Javier airport so not much more than 10 minutes to travel on arrival.

We look forward to staying in this property again in the future and can highly recommend it.

Perfect for families

Wonderful property that is well set up for those who have a young family. Everything you could possibly need for young children was there including cot sides, high chair and stair gates. Easy, flat, walk to the shops and the beach. We hired a car and saw a little more of the area which has lots to offer for all ages. When we return we will definitely be booking this property again.
