Overlooking the vessel St Vincent you will fall in love with this beautiful duplex located in an inner courtyard with a private garden that offers a space for relaxation, calmness and you will enjoy the beauty of the landscape: the dark you admire the beauty of the cathedral and leave you overwhelmed by its majesty!

The duplex "Les Capucines" of 52 m² is furnished in a contemporary and warm spirit. Located on the 1st floor is composed of a main room very bright with spectacular views of the cathedral. This spacious apartment opens onto a living room (TV, internet) equipped with a sofa (140x190cm), dining room, a kitchen corner (hob, oven miro oven, refrigerator, dishwasher). Upstairs is a bedroom with double bed (160x200), one bedroom with two single beds (90x190cm) attic with exposed beams and a bathroom with bathtub.
This apartment offers 4 beds. You also have the opportunity through the provision of housing to come to share a group stay.
A terrace in the private garden is available to travelers.

The residence situated in front of the whole abbey Saint Martin is a starting point for the discovery of 3 of the 7 wonders of Laon having resisted the revolution: the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Church of Saint Martin and Eve Lady of the Leaning Tower . Laon also has over 80 historic monuments. You can also discover the ramparts, their doors and streets of the old town and taste some specialties. Many hiking trails are rooted in the historical center. Forget the car! Your entire route can be done on foot from the residence. All this information can be found at the tourist office located 10 minutes walk from the residence.

You can also visit the Chemin des Dames place of battle during the 1914-1918 war (30km), the Museum of the Dark Ages (Archaeological Park of Marle) (26km).
Lake Monampteuil (14km) and the green way of the fin valley offer all the family of beautiful days rich in sports and water activities.

Everything you expect to be there, was there.

Fantastic apartment with great views over the city. Easy walking distance to the city. Restaurants everywhere, bars, cafes, great evenings people watching. Great location for walking around the city. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, even dropped us off and picked us up from the station. The apartment was very pleasant and clean. The spa was a great place to relax, the sauna very much welcomed after a siteseeing day. The bedrooms were very clean and very comfortable. Linen and towels were included, and changed during our two weeks stay. Parking is just a few yards away. Bus stops 100 yards in both directions. Large supermarkets only 10mins drive. Railway station also 10mins. Cathedral lit up at night, great views from the apartment. Will return to this apartment in the future and thoroughly recommend it to anyone. Only downside, was that we had to go home..

Bonjour. Je suis heureuse d'avoir trouvé cette résidence pour mes vacances en famille. Tout d'abord, la propriétaire est adorable. Isabelle sait accueillir et faire plaisir et donc notre séjour a très bien commencé. La résidence, et notre gîte le duplex "les capucines" sont très bien agencés, tout est neuf, propre et superbement décoré. Nous avons retrouvé tout le confort cosy de la maison, il ne manque rien. Le duplex était chauffé à notre arrivée, c'est super agréable et très important pour un séjour en décembre. Nous avons trouvé ce gîte qui est idéalement situé pour se rendre au "center parc" près du lac de l'ailette à seulement 20mn en voiture et à un très bon prix par rapport à la qualité et plus abordable que l'un de leur cottage. De plus, il est au calme, et des fenêtres la vue sur la cathédrale est magnifique et éblouissante le soir une fois que les lumières éclaires ce bel édifice et la ville à ses pieds. Je vous conseille donc avec beaucoup de plaisir ce gîte où je retournerais passé un plus long séjour pour découvrir le patrimoine historique de la ville et pour faire de belles balades. Vivement...
