About the property

3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, private pool with terrace, BBQ and dining area

The villa consists of three large bedrooms, one on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor, all with large built in wardrobes. The Master bedroom (upstairs) has a double bed, new en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower and a TV with access to UK channels. The second upstairs bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed (with a further Z bed and Cot bed available). The first floor also has a family bathroom with a spa bath and shower and access to a large roof terrace with pergola. There is a dining table and chairs and a couple of sun loungers on the terrace that is great for the late afternoon sun.

Downstairs is the third bedroom with a double bed. The downstairs bathroom is new and contains a walk in shower.

There is a large sitting and dining room with a dining table with 6 chairs. The lounge area is adjacent to the patio and has ample seating and a new TV that has access to all UK channels, including all sports. WIFI is available throughout and there is a CD player and a selection of games.

The fitted kitchen has been newly decorated and is well stocked, with a small table and chairs that we use for breakfast and snacks. The kitchen has plenty of child friendly utensils. Both the kitchen and sitting area access the pool terrace.

From the kitchen there is a raised patio area with dining table for 6 people. This has wall that encloses the area for safety and makes a great dining area. Below that is the pool terrace with 6 loungers, 2 reclining chairs and a seating area with a sofa, two chairs and coffee table. There is also a traditional built in BBQ. The terrace gets the sun all day in the summer and chairs can all be moved to enjoy the full sunshine or move to the cooler shade nearer the house or under the umbrella.

There is a large basement that contains a futon that could also be used as an extra double bed. There is a selection of books, a dartboard on the wall, a table football table that is also a small snooker table. The TV has a Wii attached and there are a few games available to play. The basement is also home to 2 adult and 2 children's bikes and a number of pool inflatables. Please feel free to use all the facilities in the basement at your own risk.

The front of the property has a terrace that enjoys the evening sun and is a great place to take the loungers. The front area has astroturf grass that the kids enjoy playing on. There is parking space for two cars and the road opposite has plenty of parking space if more is required. The road is very quiet with little traffic as it is a dead end. The whole villa has recently been refurbished. All terrace furniture was new for 2016, two of the bathrooms are new are we have installed a new TV, fridge and dishwasher. For 2017 we have enclosed the patio dining space and redecorated the kitchen area. The villa is managed by a fantastic company who are there for your every need. About Tim Wade

We purchased this property in the summer of 2015 and are looking forward to many wonderful family holidays there. Although we are from the UK we currently live and work in Dubai as teachers so getting to the villa is not going to happen as often as we would like in the coming years. Family and friends are making the most of it for us!

As a family we have been travelling to the Algarve for many years on holiday, staying in various villas in this area. Last summer after years of dreaming we finally took the plunge to purchase this property. We have two children aged 6 and 8 and are looking forward to spending many holidays in our villa over the coming years. As teachers, especially now we are abroad our holidays are our time to catch up with family and friends and there is no better place to do so than in the sunny Algarve.

Why Tim Wade chose Almancil

This property was everything we were looking for. The bedrooms were spacious and provided room for our two children to spread out or space to accommodate friends. The kids are water babies so the private pool was a must and the BBQ will provide the focal point for the evenings.

Keeping the children occupied was also a consideration. The beach is only 30 minutes walk away and the Horse Riding center and Tennis Academy of Vale do Lobo are 5 minutes drive away.

For me, the opportunity to play golf on the numerous championship golf courses in the area is fantastic. The 3 Quinta do Lago courses, Pinheiros Altos, San Lorenzo and two Vale do Lobo courses are only 5 minutes away, with many more within a 20 minute drive, including the courses of Villamoura.

My wife enjoys the time spent on the gorgeous beaches, as well as bike rides and walks around the Ria Formosa. The pampering on offer at the Vale do Lobo spa complex has also been well received.

Great location, lots of space, plenty of amenities

Only a 20 minute drive from Faro airport. Modern community spacious villa, driveway parking easy to settle in and feel right at home. Beach is a 25 minute walk away but an easy stroll, nearby Almancil has an Apolonia supermarket with a huge selection (recommend the custard tarts). Old Faro and Loule are nearby towns well worth a visit. If you want to go a bit further afield, Seville is just a 2 hour drive! Great stay would not hesitate to go back.

lovely house!

The house had all we need. It was spacious and very well equiped. The house was clean on arrival, towels, blankets and sheets were provided.

The communication with the owner went smooth and easy. I recommend it to everyone!

We stayed here with two adults and three children during the first week of January 2018.

Fab villa & great location, close to the beach and restaurants.

Really well appointed villa throughout- in particular the kitchen & thank goodness for the three bathrooms, (four girls in our family!) Pool a godsend and lovely outdoor space. Very friendly and helpful owners & management company. Would definitely go back - in fact very difficult to leave!

Excellent Villa

We recently stayed in Tim and Ellie's villa for a 2 week family holiday and I cannot recommend it highly enough. It was spotless on arrival with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of sunloungers, a very comfortable lounge - all the details that make for a successful holiday! The management company were highly efficient and very friendly and helpful - as were Tim and Ellie when we were making our booking.

Location is ideal - 5 minutes in the car to everywhere - beach, shops, restaurants etc. The whole family enjoyed every minute and we will definitely be back.

What a great villa!

I have to say that you have thought of everything, its all in the detail. Shade , sun, and all home comforts (husband was pleased he could watch some cricket!) Extensive book put together by Management Works covering all that you need for your holiday including emergency numbers which was reassuring. The area of Amancil is lovely, and the shopping centre with a very nice supermarket, and the beach restaurants are all only a short drive away. I would recommend the villa to you!
