Very homely 3 bedroomed very spacious apartment Bedroom one with Superking bed looking over very spacious sun terrace and swimming pool through patio doors. and en-suite comprising vanity unit, mirror, bidet and bath with shower curtain and WC. 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each and large wardrobes. Separate shower/WC. Kitchen comprising Dish Washer. Microwave, toaster, iron, ironing board, hoover, fridge freezer . Lounge, TV and music centre. Fully air conditioned, on 2nd floor of small complex. Gated. development. Lift/stairs. Fully furnished with all the usual refinements.

Very large Terrace has a 3 piece cane like suite with cushions and 2 large tables which seats 6 comfortably. It is a South West apartment and gets sun from mid morning to late evening all depending on the time of year.

There is a palm tree just outside the terrace. A supermarket/café. cocktail bar is just a stones throw away which is used by most holidaymakers along with an Indian restaurant and 2 further bars a short stroll away which over looks the mountains and sunset.. This apartment is ideal also for golfers. There are numerous golf courses around (approx. 40), Santana Golf, La Cala Gold and Mijas Golf. There are numerous beaches, clean and white , and lots of stylish bars and restaurants 5 minutes away. The markets are also a must, and are situated all over.

About Paula Lee

Hello, My name is Paula and my long term partner Nick, a builder of some 30 years live in Exmouth, Devon, also by the beach. We have a large family and its great to see them all enjoy the area of La Cala as its so central to many places. Gibralta is only approximately one hour 15mins away. Puerto Banus marina and Marbella some 20-25 minutes away. San Pedro and Estopona are a both further but all on good roads.

Why Paula Lee chose Mijas

There was nothing on this piece of land when we first saw it, but we both knew it would be a fabulous development when built. Now after some 9 years it has matured beautifully, with all pretty flowers and trees all around on the very well maintained gardens. There are 5 phases of La Cala Hills, and ours was last to be built, phase 5. It is a gated complex with two separate keys to get to apartment either by lift or stairs. It is a Dutch built complex with very good quality merchandise. There has been the addition of a roundabout nearby and also a tennis court opposite the complex with a bar. We could see the up and coming potential of this complex and with vision we could see what has now come to fruition.

What makes this apartment unique

We are surrounded by far views of beautiful mountains and it is ideal to watch the sun go by in one of the stroll away bars evenings. In the not to far distance you can see Mijas which is a beautiful very old town which is a must to visit.

There is a super new restaurant just opened in La Cala called Olivia's which is a must to see!

Great stay as always

We had a group of four two coupes. We went out for 7 nights and it was great.

The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed.

The bars and restaurants in the area are all friendly and helpful and its easy and convenient to stay local as it has everything you could need.

The pool was delightful and warm for that time of the year.

We have already booked up again for this year.

lovely location

we travelled as a group of 6 friends to la cala . The apartment was very clean and modern .Its in a peaceful location ,but just a short drive or taxi into mijas itself .The local bar/shop/resturant was very good . Friendly staff and meals served to cater for everyone . The cocktails are lovely and between us think we tried most plus a few specials .The pool area is very clean and well looked after .Plenty of eateries and bars in mijas also a good market twice a week .We had a car ,and its definately worth it as so much to see .Just up the road is coin and some more traditional tapas bars and a beautiful church or down the road to marbella and its expensive shops and harbourside . Overall a brilliant location .Will definately go again . Thankyou Paula

Estancia de lujo en la Cala Hills

Llegamos el 29 por la tarde y recogimos las llaves donde nos dijo Paula, sin problemas. La zona es estupenda, me gusta por lo tranquila y, a la vez, lo cerca que está de Fuengirola, Mijas, Marbella, ... La casa es muy bonita y amplia, y está decorada con mucho gusto. El salón muy grande, la habitación principal también, con baño incorporado. Hay otras dos habitaciones más pequeñas, pero más que suficientes, y otro aseo con ducha. La cocina estupenda también. Pero lo que más me llamó la atención es lo bien equipada que está, tiene de todo. Aire acondicionado frío/calor en salón y habitaciones, frigorífico, microondas, horno, lavadora, lavavajillas, termo eléctrico para agua caliente sanitaria, tostadora, calentador de leche, TV TDT y satélite, CD, DVD, caja fuerte, etc... A todo detalle, no le falta de nada. Vajilla, cubertería, cristalería, todo perfecto, y además habían productos de alimentación disponibles, café, té, azucar, etc... La ropa de cama igual, perfecto todo y en abundancia de sábanas y toallas. El jardín muy bien cuidado, y la piscina magnífica, aunque por las fechas en que fuimos no fue posible utilizarla. La terraza, con salida a ella desde el salón y la habitación principal, es hermosa, muy grande, y totalmente equipada con mobiliario adecuado. Además estaba todo muy limpio y bien cuidado. Productos de limpieza todo lo que quisieras, bolsas de basura, cepillos, aspirador, limpiacristales, lavavajillas, detergente, paños de cocina, estropajos, pañuelos de papel, recambios de bombillas, en fin, de todo lo que uno se imagine, allí estaba. La urbanización está muy bien, con puerta de acceso general y puerta de acceso a los portales. Además Paula fue súper amable, no he tenido ningún problema y todo es como ella dijo. Repetiré, seguro, y lo recomiendo a cualquiera que busque un apartamento para 6 personas en esa zona. Una estancia muy, muy agradable. ¡Gracias Paula!

Bookings are for 6 people only. No pets allowed. Apartment vacation by 11.00am and arrivals from 4pm unless by prior arrangement. We can arrange car hire, and our agent you pat=y direct meets you at airport Malaga is 15-mins away. The apartment keys and a map will be delivered to your home address one week before your holiday. Please note a refundable key, damage and excess cleaning deposit is required of £100. If breakages, excess cleaning, missing items are found during your stay we will provide you with a written statement of indemnity. This figure will be deducted from your hire deposit. Apartment keys must be returned within 7 days by recorded delivery back to us.
You will need and EHIC card and can obtain one from Post Office (health card which covers some costs when you are abroad)
