Formerly a humble cowshed situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National.

Formerly a humble cowshed, Nookdales Cottage is semi-detached and offers comfortable accommodation in a peaceful rural location just over a mile from the popular Yorkshire Dales village of Ingleton which offers a good selection of shops, cafes and eateries. It is accessed via a short rough track and is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, surrounded by spectacular countryside with caves, mountains and waterfalls.

Ingleton is the ideal base for those who love the great outdoors and walkers, climbers, potholers and mountain bikers are all well catered for. Popular walks include the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and the more challenging Ingleborough, which is one of Yorkshire’s famous Three Peaks. Other places of interest nearby include Ingleborough and White Scar Caves, Gaping Gill, Malham Cove, RSPB Leighton Moss, Settle-Carlisle Railway and the Ribblehead Viaduct. The Lake District, Forest of Bowland and the north west coast are also within easy driving distance.

Shops, pubs and restaurants are within walking distance (1.5 mile), and there are many fine places to eat within a short drive.

The cottage sleeps 4 people with 2 bedrooms: 1 double with a King-sized bed, 1 bunk.

Enclosed private garden with patio, sitting-out area and furniture. ⅓-acre grounds. Parking (3 cars). Pets free of charge. No smoking. NB: There are 2 steps in the garden.

The cottage is no smoking and well behaved pets are welcome. The cottage contains a full information pack with details of activities, things to do and places to go. You can also learn about what others have enjoyed and share your experiences with future guests.

Quiet, relaxing and lovely base from which to discover.

Cute cottage with everything you will need. The field was brilliant for the dogs. Lots of walks straight from the door step. The cottage is situated ideally for discovering the Yorkshire Dales, Forest of Bowland, Lancashire coast and the Lake District. Perfect for viewing the stars at night (no light pollution). Very comfortable bed, had a great nights sleep every night.

I highly recommend Nookdales Cottage.
