Social house with modern facilities ideal for family and friends to get together

Applewood is a large modern detached house set in a rural hamlet 3m from Much Wenlock. Set on a working Farm Applewood has far reaching views to the Wrekin and across much of Shropshire and is set within its own large secure garden with patio area. The House is newly refurbished to a high standard of comfort and style and will sleep upto 12/14 people in a selection of King or twin bed arrangements on ground or first floor.. There are 3 bathrooms, 2 cloakrooms, Kitchen Diner, Living room (lg HD TV) Childrens area (TV) and conservatory.

About Helen Earley

Applewood was built by my parents around 7 years ago so they could live on their working farm where they milked cows to supply their local milk round. After my father passed away we decided to let it out for holidays until one of our three children will hopefully take on the farm and house. All three are good contenders as they love the countryside and outdoor pursuits.

Why Helen Earley chose Telford

Sheinton is a hidden gem in rural Shropshire - it is a million miles from everywhere whilst a stones throw from where you need to be. Applewood offers comfortable modern amenities in a rural old fashioned location.

What makes this house unique

I love the fact that you can sit inside or out of the house and never bore of the gorgeous views. There have been many times when I have been at the house that a deer has strolled by in the back field, and the noisiest neighbours are the sheep. If you fancy a walk from your doorstep there are public and permissive pathways across and around the farm which means the car can remain parked for the duration of your relaxing break.

There are wonderful walks with great views from the doorstep to help you unwind. Do not be surprised to see deer from your kitchen window, and sheep grazing peacefully at the end of the garden.

Excellent property for the family get together.

Brilliant location and what an excellent property with all the amenities need for the large group are provided. We all enjoyed our short stay.

This property would be even better idea holiday base in warmer weather.

Beautiful house, great stay!

We stayed at Applewood Friday-Sunday for my friend's hen weekend. Helen was in touch before we went to confirm plans and make sure everything was set ready for our arrival. The house itself is surprisingly easy to find for its remote location, with wonderful views. It was spotlessly clean with everything you could need for a weekend away (including milk and a few bits Helen kindly left for us, which were very much appreciated!). Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great place to stay

I and a group of friends stayed for 4 nights, Beautiful cottage, very clean with excellent facilities, there was plenty for us to do in the area and plenty of places to escape to if you needed a bit of quiet time, the extra tv on the mezzanine area was very welcome for the ones who were following a certain series. Great views of the countryside and lots of wildlife to keep us entertained

Perfect. A great property, wonderful place, would go back tomorrow

We booked it to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. We arrived as the sun was setting to enjoy the views over the Wrekin and Shropshire hills- wonderful after leaving the hustle and bustle of Birmingham. The place was perfect. Clean, spacious and a well stocked kitchen. Never felt we were tripping over each other, and everything we needed. Didn't meet Helen, but she made sure we had everything we needed.
