Updated: 15-Oct-2015

Hidden away in the peaceful hills of South Shropshire, set below the summit of the dramatic Titterstone Clee, lies our beautiful original bow top gypsy caravan and luxury wooden cabin set in its own encampment.

Available to book for short breaks, long weekends and weekly holiday bookings.

Gift vouchers are available to buy as presents for friends and family and can be personalised with any message for that extra special gift.

With breathtaking views, stunning scenery and acres of untouched countryside it is easy to sample a lifestyle virtually lost to the modern world and at the same time escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Only a short drive from the beautiful market town of Ludlow, with its famous market, michelin star restaurants & lovely independent shops, Hillside is the perfect holiday or short break location.

The Gypsy Caravan

The original Romany caravan dating from the 1920’s has been lovingly restored. The inside is very cosy and romantic, with a pull out double bed and seats for you to sit in peace, read a book or simply admire the view. Please note we would recommend that anyone over 6ft tall uses the sofa bed in the cabin.

There is an electric heater in the caravan as well as a high-quality duvet with luxury bed linen, and for winter nights, two hot water bottles. The caravan has lamps and fairy lights which creates a really special atmosphere and a lovely place to spend the night.

Outside the gypsy caravan is a Romany cooking tripod with pots and pans to cook your bacon and eggs, a hearty stew or you can simply light a campfire to sit around in the evenings.

Situated next to the Gypsy caravan is a luxury self catering cabin with a veranda for you to sit and watch the sun go down on a warm summer’s evening. The cabin has a bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. There is a fully equipped kitchen area with sink, cooker, fridge, microwave etc. The dining area has a table and chairs which seats four people, a wood burning stove for those cosy winter evenings, and a comfortable double sofa bed to sleep extra guests.

The cabin has been decorated and dressed in a real country style with vintage china and shabby chic furniture.

Situated in the field opposite the cabin is the beautiful ‘Babble Brook’ a peaceful place to sit, read a book, or have a picnic surrounded by the beautiful countryside that makes this area so special and unique.

There is an abundance of wild flowers and wildlife to be seen here including many birds of prey such as the majestic Red Kite.

The cabin & caravan are for your own private use and there are no other holiday guests around. This is not communal in anyway.
