Three weeks in Rome

Overall, a good stay - apartment clean, well-equipped and quiet, and Monica helpful and friendly - though her English was as limited as my Italian , so we needed Google translate. Small problem needing a plumber was swiftly and efficiently dealt with. I asked for a floorpan when booking, but never got one - the layout of the bedrooms 2 & 3 is fine for a family, but not good for guests who don't know each other well - the way into bedroom 2 (with bathroom) is through bedroom 3. Supermarket just down the road, and several good restaurants within 5 minutes walk. I enjoyed my three week stay.

Quiet location

Monica met us for check-in and was helpful about the neighborhood. The apartment faces an inner courtyard on a quiet street yet is only a few blocks from bus stops. There is a Coop market a few steps away and the restaurant downstairs has good, inexpensive lunches. Overall, the apartment and building felt "tired". The interior of the building could use a fresh coat of paint, the inner courtyard is not pretty, the glass dining room table is wobbly, the bed is soft and starting to sag (still comfortable, though), and the decorative plaque in the shower is moldy.

Rome in the Spring!

We had an amazing time on an eight day spring break vacation with our two teenage kids, and Monica could not have been a better hostess. We arrived later than expected yet she still managed to meet us at the apartment and welcome us, and show us where everything was. Throughout our visit I was able to contact her whenever I had a question or needed help with anything, and she always responded immediately. Plus she is extremely kind and warm and that just added to the appeal of Rome in general. Trust me this is a beautiful apartment with three spacious bedrooms. You will not regret booking with Monica. Also, the Spanish steps are just 10 minutes away and it was so much fun to go there every night after our day and just eat gelato and watch all the people.

Clean and great location

A great location that holds a whole family if needed. Super clean and host was very responsive through text messages. Beds were very comfortable as well
