About the property

3 beds sleeps 6, nestled along a quiet track, private setting, private pool

The villa is set all on one level. The rooms are cool, bright and airy with high ceilings and stone floors. Traditional in style the bedrooms have air-conditioning. There is spacious lounge and dining area with comfortable sofas offer a great place to relax, here you will find a TV and DVD. The TV system is Spanish TDT TV which allows English language programmes to be switched into the original language soundtrack. Off the lounge area you will find a good sized kitchen with separate breakfast table.Dishwasher, microwave oven, fridge freezer, table top oven and gas hob.

There is a separate utility area outside with the washing machine.

Along from the the lounge area you will find two double bedroom and a twin bedded room. The bedrooms are bright and uncluttered with timber beds and bright white linen. They both have fitted wardrobes with plenty of storage space. Across from the bedrooms there is a bathroom with a walk in shower and separate bath with shower overhead, the second bathroom (shower room) is outside alongside the BBQ area.

Doors from the lounge lead out onto a long and shady covered terrace which provides welcome shade along side of the property, there are beautiful views across to the Serra Tramuntana mountain range.

The swimming pool has roman steps and is approximately 8m x 4m, 1.1m deep at the shallow end and 1.8m deep at the deeper end. There is a large paved sun-terrace that surrounds the pool and there is a garden with ample lawn space and Mediterranean plants and flowers. A pool-shower is also provided here for use before or after a swim.

Can Xandot is a very welcoming villa for a relaxing holiday with friends or family. It's in a good location within a short drive to Pollensa, Puerto Pollensa and Alcudia , whilst being set in fantastic countryside for cycling and walking. The beautiful bay and resort of Puerto Pollenca are just a 2 minute drive away so you have the choice if you wanted to spend plenty of time at the beach. We do recommend a car with this villa as the shops and restaurants are a little too far away to easily walk to

Nice quiet property

Positives - great location for Pollenca and Alcudia old towns and the beach. Fantastic pool, BBQ and garden area. Totally private / secluded, but not so isolated you feel uncomfortable.

Negatives - can't walk anywhere (but you can't have everything!). The electric tripped several times everyday, became annoying. Seemed related to outside lighting circuit. TV is literally ancient, wouldn't normally bother us but we had several days of very poor weather! No pool towels. Had to pay for a high chair for our baby, disappointing for a family villa.

Overall a good villa. Perfect if you want peace and quiet and especially if you like to BBQ and be by pool. Some negatives, but relatively minor.

Very Nice Stay

The villa is nice in a very Spanish rustic look and feel the pool is great and the whole property is quite secluded and private. Polencia and Alcudia are only a couple of mins from the villa by car and plenty of good shops and restaurants near by.

Lights could do with sorting out as the breaker for the lights kept tripping but on the whole very good

Peace and Tranquilty

A very peaceful and beautiful setting for a villa. The Villa was very clean and well equipped- it has everything you could ever need for cooking and bbq-ing. The outdoor kitchen/bbq area was excellent - gave the much needed shade whilst still eating outside in the beautiful surroundings. The pool was very clean and a great size for a family of 4!

The only thing in need of modernisation was the TV and DVD player as these were not working very well but was not a big deal.

The area itself could not be better. Great beaches close by, wonderful Sunday market in Pollenca Old Town.

The island of Mallorca is a lovely place to visit a great combination of stunning beaches and the fun vibrant town of Palma to explore. This is our second visit to Mallorca in as many years and I am sure it won't be the last!
