Cosy, quiet location

  • 4 of 5

Clean, cosy, quiet location just what was needed to get away from firework mayhem with my nervous Border Collie. Shower never warmed up enough to want to use it in November. Sadly no computer connection. Electricity metre needed a card not £1 coins. Unfortunately given wrong key code so had to wait a long time before the site warden could rescue me. Great location to explore the different West Wales Counties.

Lodge is one of over 70 on a woodland conservation holiday park. Car is necessary. Great local pubs and good local supermarket. Nearest tesco 6 miles in Cardigan. Lodge is inland but close to the Cardigan Bay coastline which is magnificent and offers plenty to visitors including boat trips and various water sports. The local market towns are Cardigan and Newcastle Emlyn both charming and interesting towns with good variety of shops, cafes, restaurants bars and pubs. There is a bar on the holiday park but tends to be open usually only in the summer months. The children's play area is safe and well designed.
