Fantastic property in excellent location! 4 BR, 2 BA, WC, Garden, Patio, Parking

Fistral Coast is a 5 minute stroll to Fistral beach and a 15 minute walk into Newquay town centre. Based in a quiet close in Pentire, Fistral Coast is perfect for families with children with a fantastic enclosed south facing garden with patio area and dining area and in a great position to explore The North Coast and the rest of Cornwall. This really can be a car-free holiday as there is so much to do within walking distance of the house. Situated between Fistral beach (iconic for surfing) and the Gannel behind us (which is hugely popular for kayaking, horse riding and walking). There is Fistral Spa, The Headland Hotel, California Bowl, Quicksilver surf school and the wonderful Lewinnick lodge (serving fabulous food) all within walking distance, it really is the perfect location to suit a variety of needs. For families with young children within a short drive is the Aquarium, Newquay Zoo, Crealy Adventure Park, Dairyland, Springfields Pony Park, Flambards, Lighthouse Cinema, the list is endless! For walkers and cyclists there are so many fantastic routes you can take from here to explore Cornwall. The property is suited mainly for families, I do not accept parties of young people or stag and hen parties as the property is located in a quiet close and is kept to a high standard and I would like to keep it this way for my guests. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with ensuite shower room, Bedroom 2 has a king size bed, Bedroom 3 is a twin room and Bedroom 4 has a single bed and a trundle bed (the trundle bed can also be used in any of the other bedrooms to make a family room). The main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower and downstairs there is a WC. Downstairs there is a large kitchen, dining room which seats up to 8 and sitting room with flatscreen TV, Freeview, blue ray player, NOW TV, and free fibre optic Wifi! The kitchen has all your essentials with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, double oven, hob and tumble dryer.

The whole house has been decorated with a contemporary beach theme, with comfortable furnishings and all the essential items you may need to make this a home from home! If you are bringing young children, there is a travel cot, toddler bed, highchair, changing mat and lots of toys and games to keep them amused and more in the garden. In the sitting room there are books, board games and DVDs for a range of ages! All photos of the property have been taken by myself (simply on my iPad) and are a true reflection of the property.

I have been living in Newquay for 6 years now but I have been visiting for 10 years before this and I absolutely love Cornwall, it is beautiful. I have a 4 year old son so i am more than happy to welcome families to come and enjoy our holiday home as much as we do! I have made a book up with all of our favourite places to go in the local area, we love walking and there are lots of lovely little beaches to visit and have picnics!

Why Charlotte Donovan chose Newquay & St Austell area

The best part about this property is the location, set between Fistral beach and the Gannel with only a short walk into town. There is a large south facing garden and patio with 2 dining areas and loungers, BBQ area and lots of toys for children to play with. I have put a lot of thought into making this a comfortable and well equipped property that I and my family have enjoyed coming to for years. There are 2 travel cots, a toddler bed, high chair, potty all to use with no extra costs. Plenty of toys, books, games and Wifi, Netflix and Blu-Ray. Newquay itself has so much to offer with beautiful coastlines, surfing! Shopping, bars, restaurants and so much to offer for families with children I feel very fortunate to live here.

What makes this house unique

Detached home in a quiet close, private secure garden (South facing) with patio and 2 dining areas. Driveway for 1 large vehicle or 2 small cars and a garage for 1 vehicle which also has storage for surfboards, bikes etc. Maximum occupancy is 8 in full size beds (no sofa beds or bunk beds!) with comfortable mattresses, in addition to this I do also have a toddler bed and 2 travel cots that can be used in either the King room or the Double.

Free Wifi, flatscreen TVs in sitting room, Double bedroom and Kingsize bedroom. All linen, towels, beach towels and welcome pack provided.

Fab family holiday house

Our family of five really enjoyed staying in this clean, spacious house for a great holiday just outside Newquay. The house itself has everything you're likely to need. We even made use of the garden during April. Communications were first class. We had a teething issue with the heating system, but it was quickly addressed by the owner and her partner. The house sits between Fistral beach and the Gannel, a sandy banked inlet from the ocean, in which our boys loved getting stuck! It's also close enough to Newquay to walk to for the shops, pubs and restaurants, but far enough away to be peaceful. We found a great place right on Newquay harbour to sit and have a glass of wine. Sorry, I can't remember the name. It's right down at the water level and has a long wooden balcony to sit and watch the fishing boats come in and out, while the kids jump from the harbour wall into the ocean. Plenty to do within walking distance. Ignore fish and chip shops in Newquay and walk straight through the town to Francine's. It's a challenge to eat them all.

Great position in Newquay, and everything we needed for a very enjoyable holiday.

The house was clean, bright and comfortable, and the beach was nearby. My teenage grandchildren used the vouchers for the surf lesson, and can't wait to come back. We greatly enjoyed the welcome pack, and found the house well-equipped with everything we needed.

A home away from home!

We've just returned from a week's stay at Fistral Coast and we're very impressed. The property is very well proportioned with a nice sized lounge/diner, a large kitchen and four good sized bedrooms, the master having an entire. There were 7 in our party, 5 adults and two boys aged 4 and 6 and at no point did we feel "cozy". The property also has a large garden which was nice for the boys to run around in whilst us adults soaked up the sun! There's also a large garage and a driveway that could fit two cars.

It's in a great location, the local shop is only 5 mins walk or if you wanted something larger, Sainsburys is about 20-30 mins walk (10 mins by car). We were able to get to all the attractions and places of interest easily.

The owner (Charlotte) was a joy to deal with. She got in touch leading up to our stay to make sure everything was just right, made herself available throughout our stay and then took the time to wish us a safe journey before we left. On arrival she had put together a welcome pack including some milk (waiting in the fridge), shortbread, fudge and even a few bottles of ale!

We really enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in Newquay. If we have the opportunity to holiday in Newquay again in the future Fistral Coast will be seriously considered.
