Amplios apartamentos frente al mar, en un entorno de piscinas naturales

Apartamentos de 80 hasta 87 m2 situados en primera linea de mar, frente a la playa Charco de La Pared y orientado a la salida del Sol. Piscinas naturales de arena blanca entre rocas volcánicas, aguas de color turquesa y playas en su entorno. Ubicados en el Parque Natural de Malpaís de la Corona y la Reserva Marina del Archipiélago Chinijo. Punto de embarque a La Isla de la Graciosa. Los Centros Turísticos Jameos del Agua y la Cueva de Los Verdes se encuentran a 8 kilómetros, el Mirador del Rio a 11 y el Aeropuerto a 39. Junto a su pequeño Puerto hay varios Restaurantes y cuenta con Supermercados, parada de autobús y taxi. Muy indicado para los amantes de la naturaleza.

Cada apartamento consta de terraza, salón con televisión de pantalla plana, WIFI gratuito, dos dormitorios (uno con cama de matrimonio y otro con dos camas individuales), cocina comedor independiente, baño con plato de ducha y patio tendedero. La cocina cuenta con vitrocerámica de cuatro fogones, nevera, cafeteras eléctrica e italiana, tostadora, exprimidor eléctrico y hervidor de agua.

Trip back in time in peaceful location

The 2 bed room apartment is quite spacious with a balcony overlooking a pleasant small bay. We had the 1st floor apartment next to the owners. Below were two other units. All reflected old local styles. They would probably appeal more to younger people used to budget accommodation and interested in outdoor activities; the accommodation is fairly basic. While there is a modern electric hob and fridge, there is no microwave (essential for most self caterers), washing machine, dish washer or oven. There was not even a bowl to aid washing dishes in the sink or for washing clothes. The basic double bed creaked and was not too comfortable. Orzola was quite quiet when we stayed (early March) and we were disappointed with the meals at the two top rated restaurants. It is a good location for many Lanzarote sites (Jameos del Agua, La Graciosa etc.). The owner was welcoming, although he does not speak English and his wine was very nice!

Fantastic location, spacious, cool and very clean

Even though there was a language barrier, Señor and Señora Santana were great hosts. They were welcoming and on hand if we needed anything. They left water and a bottle of their home made wine which, I might add, was actually very nice! The flat was very clean and in the height of summer will be nice and cool. There is enough space to sit outside and eat or just enjoy the sun and views. The kitchen had all we needed, there is no cooker but it does have a hob, but who wants to cook on holiday anyway. There is an inner courtyard, it is tiny but I loved it, it's just for hanging up washing but it is nicely done and the double bedroom window opens on to it. The bedrooms have enough storage for clothes and there is a hair dryer, there are also extra blankets should you need them. The double bed is a standard size so my only wish would be for a king size bed, the room could easily take it and it would add a bit more comfort. The location is perfect, the little beach is literally across the very quiet road and the area where we were was about a 7 minute stroll to the harbour with an excellent cafe and 3/4 (which were open at this time of year)of the 7/8 restaurants in the village of Orzola. Orzola is small but busy little harbour village, lots of people come in to catch the ferry to Graciosa. There are two little supermarkets that stock the basics and are also within walking distance of the flat. You can walk to one of the beaches that is off the coast road out of Orzola, this can be reached from the footpath that is behind the houses by the flat, it is a lovely beach with white sand, good swimming and plenty of rock pools. All in all a quiet, relaxing experience.

Leaving the airport was a little bit tricky, directions talked about coming to roundabouts (on single carriageways) but took us a few miles of no roundabouts to realise that you take slip roads off to reach the roundabouts beneath the roads! ( we haven't been to the Canaries before and it was dark!).

I would definitely recommend Orzola and the accommodation to anyone wishing to holiday here, it is very quiet, relaxing and a beautiful area.
