The Steading Cottage St Andrews Offers Luxury Self Catering Accommodation at Affordable Prices throughout the year.

The historic old town of St Andrews with it's beautiful unspoiled beaches and famous golf courses is only 4 miles away. Sitting in the shadow of St Athernase, a 12th century Norman church, the cottage forms part of a Steading complex, circa 1845. Centrally located within a beautifull unspoilt conservation area this luxuriously appointed cottage is ideally situated for exploring St Andrews, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee and the East Neuk of Fife’s numerous quaint fishing villages.

Available all year round, our self-catered cottage offers flexible accommodation close to St Andrews at a great price. The cottage sleeps between two and six people and features two king bedrooms and a high quality double sofabed povided in the lounge which is suitable for both children and adults. The living accommodation comprises a very spacious open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area and an equally spacious family bathroom with bath and shower. Extremely comfortable, the cottage is very well equipped with everything you will need. The Lounge has the full Sky TV package including Movies and Sports with a DVD and CD Player. Both bedrooms have Freeview TV and DVDs.

Our large private enclosed garden is perfect for pets which we welcome by prior arrangement. The walled garden is a perfect South facing sun trap and is the ideal place to relax in Fife's warm, dry weather. Prepair a meal at the purpose built BBQ site and relax in the luxurious gazebo, ideal for alfresco dinning.

There is private parking available on site for one vehicle with additional parking 20 meters from the door. With Leuchars rail station only a half mile away and buses to St Andrews and the rail station every 10 minutes up to midnight, the cottage is extremely well located with excellent transport links. A laundry service available on request.

Early pre-booking is essential as many weeks are booked a year in advance.

"We have just returned from a fabulous week's holiday at The Steadings and can not recommend this property highly enough. From the moment we walked in and with all the little extras it was perfect. As a family we enjoyed a fantastic property to stay in with a brilliant location. Warm, cosy, extremely comfortable & clean, lovely private garden all in all just an idilic cottage to relax and enjoy time with your loved ones. John and Ruby very helpful with anything we needed.”

Wonderful Cottage

In a perfect situation this idilic Cottage is close to St Andrews and within 15 minutes of Dundee, a perfect location for exploring the area. The cottage was first rate, immaculately clean, extremely comfortable, equipped with everything we could need and very tastefully appointed. Did I mention the beds? Ahhh perfect! John the owner was very friendly and helpful. There was a great welcome pack waiting for us, wine, a daily newspaper, chew sticks for our dogs Tilly and Paddy and sweets for our girls were some of the nicer touches. The bonus for the kids was the free WiFi and a TV each. The walled garden was ideal for our dogs and eating out in the gazebo just lovely. We have been using holiday cottages for 22 years and this is one, if not the best, we have stayed in. I would highly recommend it to anyone and don’t think anyone could be disappointed. We have booked for next summer already as it looks very popular.
