About the property

Heath Lodge is a much loved and beautifully furnished holiday home. It sits on a quite unadopted road in an idyllic location in the village of Studland. A modern, detached 4-bedroom house, it has a light and airy feel. It benefits from an extensively planted rear garden with a large patio area and summer house, and an east facing front terrace. There's a barbecue and plenty of outdoor seating which makes dining alfresco a real pleasure. There's off road parking for three cars. National Trust heathland is a stone's throw from the front door and the well stocked village shop is an easy walk away. The beautiful Studland beaches are a fifteen minute stroll as is the renowned 'Pig on the Beach' restaurant and the Banke's Arms - the village pub. Rick Stein's new Sanbanks restaurant can be reached via the Sandbanks chain ferry and the delights of the Isle of Purbeck are an easy drive in the opposite direction. Studland Stables and the Isle of Purbeck golf course are also easily accessible. The house sleeps seven in 2 double bedrooms (one with en-suite shower room), one twin and one single bedroom. All the bedrooms have black-out blinds. The family bathroom has a bath, separate shower and a heated towel rail. The comfortable sitting room is stocked with DVDs and books on the surrounding area. The dining room overlooks the rear garden and leads off the modern and well equipped kitchen. There's also an utility room with washing machine and separate dryer, and a downstairs loo. We've owned Heath Lodge for over ten years and it's recently been completely refurbished.

A great base for a family holiday

Heath Lodge is a beautifully appointed house, spotlessly clean and with every amenity a family could wish for, from the pool and the table tennis tables, the garden furniture to catch the sun at all times of the day, the BBQ, the extensive collection of DVDs and the highest quality equipment in the kitchen and laundry room. Add this to close proximity to lovely beaches, a pretty village and heathland walks and you have the recipe for a great holiday. Each evening our young grandson said "hands up those who are having a great time" ....and 7 hands shot up ....that should say it all!

A house with a heart

We stayed at Heath Lodge with our family to attend a wedding in Studland. From the moment we stepped through the door we felt at home. Beautifully decorated, clean and with great attention to detail, containing all you would ever need for a perfect break. The owner was helpful and prompt with my questions prior to arriving.

The location is very quiet and in walking distance of the delightful village shop and pub. Close to the stunning sandy beach of Studland. Need I say more!

Studland gem

A very well-appointed house, in a great peaceful location for a relaxing UK break. Short stroll to village shop, pub, beaches; wilder walks at the end of the road. Tables for outdoor eating front and back, to catch the sun, when it comes..
