About the property

Heath Lodge is a much loved and beautifully furnished holiday home. It sits on a quiet unadopted road in an idyllic location in the village of Studland. A modern, detached 4-bedroom house, it has plenty of character and a light and airy feel. The house has a lawned and terraced rear garden, a large patio area and summer house, and an east facing front terrace. There's a barbecue and plenty of outdoor seating which makes dining alfresco a real pleasure. There's off road parking for three cars. National Trust heathland with it's public footpaths are a stone's throw from the front door and the well stocked village shop is an easy walk away. The beautiful Studland beaches are within walking distance as is the renowned 'Pig on the Beach' restaurant and the Banke's Arms - the village pub. Rick Stein's new Sanbanks restaurant can be reached via the Sandbanks chain ferry and the delights of the Isle of Purbeck are on your doorstep and the likes of Swanage, Corfe and the rest of the Jurassic coast are a scenic drive away. Studland Stables and the Isle of Purbeck golf course are also easily accessible.

A beautiful house in an equally beautiful area with some wonderful places within easy reach.

Every aspect of this wonderful property was appreciated by our 3 generations. The younger members enjoyed the pool table and table tennis table as well as some of the DVDs collection. The garden is beautifully kept and we all enjoyed a BBQ,sitting outside in the sun. Various birds and dragonflies frequented the garden often. The kitchen was a delight to cook in and is equipped with superb quality appliances and equipment. The same high quality was apparent through out every room. We found the best of both worlds with this house, whilst it is quiet and secluded and a wonderful place to unwind and take in the beauty of the heath and coast, it is also in a very accessible area for many surrounding attractions. Although we were there in the height of the season, we found the roads to be fairly quiet. We had a wonderful week and didnt want to leave!

A beautiful, family friendly property.

Even though we had seen the photographs of Heath Lodge online, we were still very pleasantly surprised by just how lovely the house actually was! As we arrived all of the adults in our party were full of complementary comments about the appearance both inside and out, as well as the facilities available. Our children were thrilled with the house, and the child friendly touches throughout were fantastic. They really did not want to leave at the end of our stay!

Throughout the process of our booking, staying and returning from our stay at Heath Lodge, we have found the home owner, Jane, to be extremely helpful, prompt and polite in all of our communications with her.

We would highly recommend the house to any families who are looking for a peaceful, modern and comfortable holiday. Thank you Jane and family.

It suited our needs perfectly.

The family thoroughly enjoyed their stay in the property. All the amenities were very good and there was nothing missing at all - all our requirements were met with great satisfaction.

I addition the location was excellent. One member of our party even said as we left last Saturday that he would be more than happy to go back again - a compliment from him.

Perfect location! Perfect house!

We had such a fantastic stay at Jane's lovely home in Studland. The house had everything we could have dreamt of and the garden was heavenly. It's a short walk to some lovely beaches and - an added bonus - there are some stunning walks in the hills just at the end of the road. We would highly recommend this property and the whole area around Studland too.

Excellent

What an absolutely stunning place. It was so refreshing to stay at a lovely accommodation that was as well equipped and as comfortable as being in your own home. We all loved it. This property was also set in a beautiful, quiet location and so close to the beaches that we were able to make full use of as the weather was very kind to us. We had a lovely week and felt completely at home in the property and were very sad to leave

A great base for a family holiday

Heath Lodge is a beautifully appointed house, spotlessly clean and with every amenity a family could wish for, from the pool and the table tennis tables, the garden furniture to catch the sun at all times of the day, the BBQ, the extensive collection of DVDs and the highest quality equipment in the kitchen and laundry room. Add this to close proximity to lovely beaches, a pretty village and heathland walks and you have the recipe for a great holiday. Each evening our young grandson said "hands up those who are having a great time" ....and 7 hands shot up ....that should say it all!
