You cannot get much closer to the beach than this!

Located so that you do not necessarily need a car. Supermarkets, local produce markets and several cafes and restaurants on your door step!!

A great place to simply chill out watch the world go by, sunbathe on the beach or balcony, swim in the sea or partake in some of the many activities available in the Algarve,

This newly renovated, bright, light and airy fifth floor apartment with fantastic coastal views has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and an open plan kitchen /living area. It is equipped with all new modern appliances. There are Air Conditioning units in the living area and both bedrooms for cooling and heating. FREE WiFi and TV with radio and music channels received via the internet. Doors lead off from both the kitchen and lounge on to the south facing balcony, from where you have stunning views along the coastline. There is a table and relaxing seating for 4.

The living area is simply furnished with a large comfortable sofa and armchair, the dining area with a table & chairs.

The bedrooms! In one you will find a King size bed and in the other two generous single beds, both rooms have A/C, fitted wardrobes and drawers, bedside tables and lamps and of course sea views!

The bathroom has a sink with storage underneath, toilet and shower and under floor heating and heated towel rail for cooler months. Extractor fan and an opening window for ventilation

All windows throughout the apartment have electric shutters. The balcony has modern glass panels inside the original balcony rails which were installed for the extra safety as well as giving a little protection in the winter if it gets a bit windy.

We leave you a complimentary “Welcome Pack” “for your arrival with a few essentials so that you can have a drink and a bite to eat while you sit on the balcony, recover from your journey and enjoy the start of your holiday! We also provide a selection of cleaning items and toilet rolls. Bed linen and towels are supplied, and changed weekly. The apartment will be cleaned and ready for you. There is a folder with all the information you need to know about the apartment and about the local area, where to go food shopping, sightseeing ect

From the main street entrance there are two lifts to the apartment or alternatively stairs. Unfortunately, not wheel chair friendly as there are a few steps in the foyer area to access the lifts.

Armacao de Pera has a fantastic stretch of soft sandy beach which you can stroll along for approximately five kilometers or find a spot and rent a sun bed and shade! Although the apartment does not have a swimming pool , there is outdoor pool and bar for which you can buy entrance tickets. There are several great beach bars, cafes, and restaurants offering traditional Portuguese as well as Italian, Chinese, Japanese, and Indian cuisine, and a couple of “English” style bars. There is a daily fish and vegetable market, supermarkets, bakeries and also banks, ATMs and a Post Office. For transport there are Taxis and local buses.

Water sports, pedalos and boat trips to spot Dolphins and visit the caves can be booked. There are plenty of other places to visit with children

Take a trip to the Tourist Information office (located along the pedestrian promenade) where they can advise you of other activities going on in the town and local area, to be honest there is quite a programme of events during the high season, and even out of season there will be something!

There is Public transport by bus or Taxi, so if you haven’t hired a car you can still explore further afield. Some of the tourist attractions also run their own transport. Car hire is available in the town, the nearest office being just a short walk from the apartment.

Golfers have a plenty of choice in the area and we particularly recommend the O’Connor & Faldo course at Amendoiera which is only 10 mins away. Salagados, Silves, Pinta and Gramacho are also nearby and Penina is 20 mins further west.

About the Owner

We live just outside Wokingham. Our two children (now adults!) have now flown the nest but pop home regularly and also pop over to Portugal with their partners as often as is possible in their busy lives.

As a family we lived in Portugal in the 90's and when there all fell in love with the country.

We are both nearing full time retirement and Debbie had always dreamt of renovating something in Portugal. Hence this apartment, which has been knocked about and fully refurbished to make it a modern open plan dream come true. Both of us, and our children look forward to spending some relaxing time in there!

Superb apartment with fantastic views

The apartment has everything you could possibly need and more! The balcony is great for watching sunrise and sunsets and the fishing boats coming and going. Good choice of eating places and shops close by. Would definately recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in the sun - the owners have made this a stunning holiday apartment. PERFECT APARTMENT IN PERFECT LOCATION

APARTMENT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN IT LOOKED ON THE WEBSITE. IT WAS CLEAN, EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE AND HAD EVERYTHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE NEEDED, EVEN BEACH CHAIRS, PARASOLS AND COOL BAG. kITCHEN WAS WELL EQUIPPED AND THERE WAS A POWERFUL SHOWER IN THE BATHROOM. FROM THE BALCONY WE ENJOYED WATCHING THE FISHING BOATS GOING OUT AND COMING BACK. THERE ARE MANY GOOD EATING PLACES NEARBY. THE OWNER REPLIED PROMPTLY TO QUESTIONS AND THE MANAGER, GEORGE, WAS VERY HELPFUL AND INFORMATIVE ON SITE. A PLACE TO BE FOR A GREAT HOLIDAY!

Great stay

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights, we followed directions given to us from the owners and we made it straight to the apartment with no issues. The apartment is beautiful, so modern and has everything we needed. The view from the balcony is incredible and we sat there watching the people go by with a glass of wine. There's wifi and tv which is really easy to use. The shutters in the room are great first thing in the morning, it allowed us to fully relax and not worry about time. We'll definitely be returning again next year.

Perfect little break

Couldn't recommend this place any more. My fiancé and I stayed for 4 nights as a little getaway and to celebrate her birthday. The apartment is fantastic, it has everything you will need. From comfy beds, lovely rainwater shower and beautiful balcony views to simple things like English tv and a dishwasher.

The local area has some lovely bars, restaurants, ice cream and beaches plus Albufeira is only a 20 minutes drive away.

We had a really relaxed holiday, enjoying drinks on the balcony watching the beautiful sunset. We will be going back soon. This apartment is everything we could have wished for.............and more.

Perfect!!

My wife and I stayed here for 5 days before we couldn't fly due to expecting our first baby.. This appartment was absolutely everything we needed, amazing view to wake up to in the morning, and a lively sunset to watch early eve. Walking distance even when pregnant to shops resteraunts and the beach.. Recently been refurbished which was stunning felt comfortable and really modern. Will definitely be staying here again.. Thank you so much x

AMAZZZZING!

Absolutely beautiful, comfortable and spacious. The decor is stunning and such thought has gone into bringing the beautiful view of the sea and beach into the apartment. Even though it was December we did not have to have the heating on it was so cosy and we even sat outside in the morning and early afternoon. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine etc etc. Absolutely wonderful watching the fishermen going about their job going out to fish and bringing the catch in at the end of the day. You do not need a car as everything is on your doorstep. The owners have a manual which is very informative and most helpful, so you should not get stuck with anything. WiFi and an amazing box of tricks so you can watch the latest films that have come out in the comfort of the apartment. Can't wait to go back - thank you to the owners.

We stood on the balcony and counted 12 bars and restaurants that can be seen -- all within 1 mins . The beach is on your doorstep and Pedros bar -- just outside the front door of the apartment block -- is a very popular place for snacks and drinks on the beach .
