About the property

A comfortable and quiet base for a coastal getaway.

This newly refurbished Coach House is is set within the garden of a larger Victorian property and can accommodate up to four guests. The Coach House offers a private entrance and accommodation on two floors. A south facing conservatory and clean interior throughout make it a unique space.

There is a conservatory with a good sized table and chairs to enjoy a lazy breakfast or supper. At night there are fairy lights in the tree outside the conservatory to enjoy. Through the barn doors is a good sized entrance hall equipped with a new combi boiler and a cupboard. There is a fully equipped and newly refurbished kitchen downstairs which also shares the space with a cosy living / dining area. This features a TV and DVD player and you can find some DVDs available for you to choose from in the Coach House entrance way. Up the stairs you will find a large landing with an office area and a selection of adult and children books. A z bed can fit in this space. Off the landing is a large double bedroom which comfortably fits an additional single Zbed if you should need to share with a third or fourth person. Alternatively you can use the large landing for the single bed and create a second sleeping area. There is a completely new shower room fitted and freshly laundered towels are available for each guest.

The Coach House has been recently refurbished with new appliances, flooring, and amenities throughout. Some furniture has been lovingly refurbished and some is brand new.

There is on street parking between the hours of 5.00pm and 9.00am outside on our Road. We will be able to provide you with a parking permit for a day of on street parking but for longer stays there is parking all day on the street behind ours. You will access the property through the garden gate and have your own key to the Coach House property.We will not bother you but you are welcome to telephone or text us if you need anything. We live on the site so will be able to assist quickly if we are in or arrange for assistance if we are not.

The patio area to the side of the Coach House is part of the owners private garden but the owners are happy for you to request the use of it if they are out.

There are two lovely dogs that live on site and use the garden. Guests don't often come into contact with them but they are around.

This is a non smoking property and smoking is not permitted in the Coach House or in the garden.

Visiting family. Cosy, quirky place close to all services

Travelled from Germany to visit family who lived just a short walk away. The location was perfect, friendly owner and everything was totally adequate to our needs.

Parking is a bit of an issue but to be expected being so close to the shopping center. Would not hesitate to book again in the future. -- Chris & Barbara

Lovely little cottage with everything u need

Owners very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Lovely garden with great seated area. Slightly starange sharing the garden with the neighbours/owners thou as I felt we were intruding and if they want to use it in the summer not sure how that would work. Otherwise fantastic 😁

The Coach House

The Coach House is a beautifully decorated and furnished cosy cottage within an easy drive to Bournemouth. Unfortunately we didn't meet Lucy but did meet Dominic, and all the arrangements regarding keys etc worked very easily and Lucy was very friendly and helpful in our text messages. We had a wonderful weekend's weather and so really enjoyed our walks on the beach and visit to Christchurch. We would love to return and would happily recommend it to others.

A lovely place to stay

We had a great experience staying at the Coach House. It is very comfortable and the hosts are so friendly and super-helpful - they really made us feel at home.

The location is very handy to the shops, and there are lots of attractions within a short drive away. There is everything you could need, beds very comfortable and everything was really clean and tidy.

gemütliches Coachhaus mit schnuckligem Wintergarten

Das Coachhouse war sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt. Besonders gefallen hat uns der Wintergarten und die gemütliche Terasse. Lucy hat uns mit Gebäck, Tee und selbstgemachter Marmelade empfangen. Bei Fragen oder wenn irgendetwas fehlte, war immer jemand da, der gute Tipps geben konnte und schnell geholfen hat. Es gab gleich um die Ecke verschiedene Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und verschiedene Fastfood Restaurants.

Die Wohnung lag sehr verkehrsgünstig, ca. 3 Min. bis zur Bushaltestelle, an der häufig Busse nach Bournemouth und Poole gefahren sind. Mit dem Auto fährt man bis zum Strand (Sandbanks) ca. 12 Min. Mit dem Bus zum Strand nach Bournemouth 30 Min., am liebsten waren wir am naturbelassenen Strand Studland Beach, den man schnell mit einer Fähre (ca. 5 Min.) erreichen kann.

Wir haben Urlaub mit zwei Teenagern gemacht. Für vier Personen war das Coachhaus etwas zu klein. Wit würden eher zwei bis drei Personen empfehlen.

We do have a child and lovely dogs on site.
We allow up to two dogs at an additional cost of £10 each payable at check in. This covers the inevitable extra cleaning. They will be allowed to use the garden to toilet but the garden is our private garden and there is a field within a 1 minute drive of the property where they can excercise. We need to be notified if you are bringing a dog or two. Unfortunately cats are not permitted in the property because my husband is allergic.
You are in a residential area and within a family home's property. We do not allow parties or noise past 10.00pm. We appreciate it if you leave the Coach House as you found it.
We are only insured for three guests so please do not book if you plan to bring four. We could alter the insurance for the requested time if you do need to bring four people but would need to add a charge for that change depending on the time staying with us. Also you will be required to supply the fourth sleeping equipment as we do not have more than a double and single bed.
We do accept a maximum of two friendly and well socialised dogs but the only use of the garden will be for them to go to the toilet. The garden is used regularly by us, our daughter and our dogs so we appreciate it if you could pick up asap after your dog has been to the toilet. (There are many walks nearby for exercise). There will be a charge of £10.00 per dog payable at check in. This covers the inevitable extra cleaning after a dog has holidayed with us,
