About the property

1 bedroom, 1 bath flat

Size matters but not at the expense of a comfortable Chelsea location! This bijou pad has everything, a great kitchen combined reception room, bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Recently decorated in neutral colours the space is light and airy, double doors open from the reception to outside.

Strategically placed to walk to Fulham Road (visit the home of Chelsea Football Club), King's Road, the museums of South Kensington this comfortable nest offers non hotel heaven. Nearby are supermarkets M&S and Sainsburys, cold pressed juice bars, French pavement cafés, and a vast array of international restaurants.

The number 14 bus runs from Putney Heath to Warren Street and almost passes your door - get a sense of London without going underground - Knightsbridge, South Kensington, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Bond Street, Soho to Warren Street are all on the 14 route. Try Finchs Bar or The Goat on the Fulham Road for a pint and great food. Watch out for Hugh Grant who lives around the corner.

Great location, great service.

  • 5 of 5

Nick provides great service from the beginning of the process to the very end, refunding the security deposit. The unit was small but big enough for two. Very clean and in a great location. We would definitely stay again during future travels to London. Thanks to Ed and Keren.

Fine for a quick visit. the bathroom is tiny. The rest is basic but acceptable.

Excellent location

  • 5 of 5

From the beginning of our booking "Nick' from 'Homefinders' replied immediately providing us with the necessary details for the rental of the flat. Unfortunately, we didn't see realise that late 'arrivals after 8.00pm' incurred a late check in fee-therefore we had a 'transfer from the airport and check-in by the driver. ( 55 pounds) The Flat is petite and 'bijoux' but everything was in place and very tidy.. a very cozy atmosphere.. ( 'Be aware the Bathroom and bedroom have very limited space, even for London standards'). The kitchen had all the necessary utilities and was very nicely presented.

The location is what made the property a success! The Fulham Road was just a 3 minute walk from the flat, where there were a great choice of supermarkets with late opening hours ( M&S and Sainsbury's), as well as many choices of restaurants and cafes and trendy shops. The tube ( either Gloucester Rd or S. Kensington) were only a short 12 minute walk away, as well as a large variety of bus routes. The only negative was the 'check-out'. We were notified the day before our departure that we were meant to check out at 10.30 ( even though the website says 11.00). The agent's agreed on 10.45. We then had 'cleaners' coming through the door at 10.00am... Not a big problem, but a bit of an inconvenience. Overall a wonderful stay.

very convenient location, clean, a bit small

  • 4 of 5

Although we did not meet Nick he was always available by phone or by email if required. We were met by his assistant who was waiting for us when we arrived. The apartment was on the ground floor. Huge but very comfortable bed in a very small room makes moving around it difficult. The bathroom is adequate and very clean but quite small. The kitchen/dining room area was quite spacious as there was not much furniture around. For a short stay the kitchen was equipped with the usual tools, even though the kitchen sink is very small. However, there is a small dishwasher under the counter (as well as a fridge and washer/drier). The neighbourhood is very quiet. Ground floor access from the street. Generally the apartment is quiet and clean.

Great Location

  • 4 of 5

The flat is in a truly unbeatable location. Five minutes from the tube and lots of great pubs and restaurants. It was very quiet other than a neighbor's party the first night and nice blackout curtains that made it easy to sleep.

Just be aware that it's about normal sized for a London flat, meaning rather cramped. The living room/kitchen is perfectly fine, but the bedroom and bathroom are a tight squeeze.

That being said, it's a great value for the price in a wonderful location. Would stay here again.

Good value, great location

  • 4 of 5

This is a nice serviceable apartment in a lovely location just north of Chelsea. very comfortable bed, good kitchen facilities and quiet. Good value, we thought, even though the bed pretty much fills the bedroom and you can barely open the closet door. Pretty tiny bathroom, too, badly in need of some hooks for towels, a shower caddy and another small shelf. There was space for storage though, in the living room and the hallway closet. The living kitchen area was well equipped; you could actually cook and eat there if you chose. Overall a reasonable price for what you get. Our only real problem was that the apartment wasn't really clean when we got there, but the agency was very responsive when we called, and sent someone over to remedy.
