About the property

This spacious 2 storey, end of terrace, one bedroom, traditional Spanish casa is located in La Marina, just 18 kilometres to the south of Alicante airport. La Marina is a welcoming and popular holiday destination located on the beautiful Costa Blanca. The property is south facing and enjoys a private terrace all within a peaceful location, and enjoys spectacular views across the surrounding countryside and to the sea. The property has a fully equipped kitchen, TV for use with the DVD player, patio furniture and barbeque. Metered air conditioning is also available for your comfort and convenience. Although the property is primarily a 1 bedroom comprising a king-size bed it is also possible to accommodate another 2 single beds, making it an ideal base for a small family.

Within walking distance of the property you will find several small commercial areas sporting a wide variety of bars and restaurants as well as many other amenities including banks, doctors, chemists, supermarkets and Tourist Information Office. Many of the venues have live entertainment in the evening for your enjoyment. Also close by is a swimming pool complex which can be accessed on a daily basis and there you can enjoy food and drink from the outside restaurant.

La Marina enjoys three markets a week on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays and here you will find a wide and varied selection of goods, fresh fruit and vegetables. The markets on Thursdays and Sundays are within walking distance of the property. Approximately 7 minutes drive away are wonderful sandy Blue Flag beaches and for those who want to explore further then the popular resort of Benidorm and its many attractions including the Terra Mitica Theme Park are located just an hours drive away, as are some beautiful trips out to the mountains and surrounding villages. Closer by are the very Spanish seaside towns of Guadamar and Santa Pola, both of which have beautiful beaches and weekly markets.

Well equipped and very comfortable

My wife and I booked ourselves in for a long weekend. From the moment the owner let us in we knew we had made the right choice, from quality furnishings through to a lovely welcome pack which included delicious fresh strawberries. This property represents excellent value for money and is in a great location, only 10 minutes walk from the shops and bars but far enough away to enjoy the quiet of the sunny terrace while enjoying the view over the mountains. Already looking to book our next trip back, well done Pauline on a lovely holiday home!

The property was very well presented and was more 'homely' than your average rental

I only needed a bed and coffee but had I wanted more this property provided it. Full kitchen, comfortable lounge and outside area. Large bedroom and ensuite. Heating + aircon (metered) Trudi who was there when I arrived couldn't have been more helpful. Welcome tray and tea/coffee very welcome. Would definitely recommend

A lovely holiday, clean and neat property.

We were met by someone who showed us how to use the amenities in the property. There was a lovely welcome pack. Nice stay. Lovely patio to sit on with good shade. All amenities and near to shops and bars.

Property was clean , comfortable,well equiped and in a central location. No issues whatsoever.

Ideal property for a couple ( i would be concerned for Young children using the staircase)

Needs some attention

The air conditioning was not working properly upstairs had to move downstairs where it was and we had cockroaches as visitors would not stay again Pauline needs to sort the problem

Lovely house

We highly recommend a visit to Alicante with its beautiful Castle, Marina and vast array of restaurants. Also both Santa Pola and Guadamar provide a lovely day out and you will find all the local people very helpful and friendly.
