Lovely house in La Capellania (Tamargua) 5 minutes drive from the busy resort of Corralejo which has bars, restaurants, cafe's, shops and beaches in abundance. Very close by is the waterpark in Corralejo plus the famous sand dunes. There are weekly markets, shopping centres, and a lovely 'old town' in Corralejo. Regular boat trips go from the pretty harbour to the little island of Lobos, and also to Lanzarote.

The beautiful house itself has 3 bedrooms sleeping 6 people and a baby. One double room and two twin bedrooms, plus a travel cot for guest use. Fitted wardrobes in two of the bedrooms, plus drawer storage. Two bathrooms (one en suite) with bath and shower facilities. Spacious seating and dining area which seats 6, plus a highchair. Free wifi. Big flatscreen Smart TV withYouTube, Netflix, DVD player, hardrive with over 200 films, TV series, documentaries and kids films and a Wii console. Variety of DVD's, Wii games and books available plus board games, games for the kids, and a Nintendo DS available. Patio with outdoor furniture for 6, plus sunbeds and an artificial grass area. BBQ also provided for guests use, plus a variety of beach toys such as bat and balls.

Newly decorated to a high and modern standard. Lovely new kitchen with all mod cons including microwave, coffee maker, oven and hob, kettle, toaster, toastie maker etc.

There is a washing machine and washing line for guests convenience, plus an iron and ironing board.

Private parking for two cars directly next to the house.

The village of La Capellania has a British sports bar, a kids park, a pizzeria, a supermarket and a restaurant all within short walking distance. A hire car would be recommended, however there is also a taxi rank close to the house, and a bus stop, from where you can get the bus into Corralejo, or other neighbouring villages such as Lajares, El Cotillo and Villa Verde.

Having previously lived on the island, we are back and for regularly visiting family and friends. We love the island, and are very glad to have a beautiful home there where our children can visit and experience the Canarian way of life.

We live in Wales now, and it's such a shame to have the house in Fuerteventura sat empty waiting for us, so we have decided to open it up to holiday makers.

We know you will love it as much as we do. It really is a home away from home. So make yourselves comfortable and enjoy the laid back Spanish way of life!

Why Emma del Pino chose La Oliva

It is very close to the busy tourist resort of Corralejo, without being in the town itself. No searching for parking spots, and no constant traffic/pedestrian/nightclub noises. It is a very short drive (or taxi/bus ride) into Corralejo itself, with the only waterpark on the island being 5 minutes away. There are a variety of beaches nearby to chose from, including the famous sand dunes, as well as lovely little traditional villages to explore.

The house has all mod cons including wifi to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The house has a coveted corner plot with south facing garden - meaning it gets the sun throughout the day. Beautiful views of the surrounding volcanoes and a lovely peaceful, relaxed area makes this the perfect location.

House in a mainly residential developement.

A very good and reasonably priced home.A supermarket is within walking distance and a small bar/restaurant is nearby.The main bedroom bed is very comfortable(the only one we used) and the house is equipped with everything you will need for a self-catering break.I would say that a car is necessary,although there is a bus service and of course taxis.All in all a good well priced 3 bedroom property.

LOVELY COMFORTABLE VILLA

Thanks for the opportunity to rent your house which we found extremely clean, comfortable, spacious and well equipped.

The outside space was larger than expected [from the photographs], well furnished, and had areas of shade which were welcome on the hotter days.

The general area is quiet, which was what we were looking for, with an excellent supermarket + pub/restaurant and Pizza place a few minutes walk away.

We tended to eat out in Lajares and La Oliva where the food, service and ambience is generally superior to that found in

Corralejo

Any correspondence was replied to within a few hours.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property and look forward to returning at some point in the future -thanks.

great base to explore the island and relax in

The property was exactly as described. Everything worked and was not "tired" as so many properties we have previously used.

We felt that we weren't renting a property but were borrowing a friends home. A quiet and safe spot with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Outside is nice and private where you can relax and soak up a few rays and read your book. There didn't seem to be any noisy neighbours or traffic noise. Wifi -good. DVD - good. Kitchen - good. Décor - good. Cleanliness - good. Beds - comfortable

The house is a 15 min drive from Corralejo with a good supermarket at the entrance of the development.

Definitely recommend this property and will be back again.

Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your response. We very much hope that everyone who stays at the house sees it as a 'home away from home'. We spend a lot of time here with our family so we've equipped it for our use, as well as for visitors. Nearly everything is new, and left out for guest use. I'm so glad that you felt comfortable here. I would just like to mention that depending on where you'd like to go in the town, you are as close as 5 minutes away. The water park is around 5 mins, as is the African market. Other places further down the high street, or towards the sand dunes are within a few more minutes drive.
