Comfortable cottage in the heart of Llanrwst.

  • 4 of 5

Lovely little cottage close to all the amenities. Very quiet and peaceful. Well equipped and comfortable especially the beds. Helpful owner who answered our queries promptly. Very clean. Our only slight issue was that it was a little chilly downstairs in the evening .

Owner's Response: So sorry that you were chilly in the evening - there is a BOOST facility on the thermostat which you can use to increase the temperature - I'm just sorry this wasn't signposted well enough. I'll fix that for our next guests. I can also control the heating remotely so, if you come next time, you only have to send a text or give me a call! Sam.

Beautiful Little Cottage

  • 4 of 5

We had a fantastic time in this lovely little cottage. It's right in the heart of a bustling town, literally right in the centre.

The interior is modern and extremely comfy, I think they may have done it up recently. Everyone didn't want to leave their beds, they were super comfortable!!!

The owner was very quick to respond to any questions I had and was extremely helpful.

If I'm ever visiting the area again I will definitely be checking this place out again.

Perfect in every way

This is a super 'little' cottage - looks little on the outside but spacious inside. Very well equipped kitchen, fab shower, comfortable sofas and luxurious beds. Wonderful central location but beautifully quiet and hidden away. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed it! Comfort - and especially the beds - were a big priority for us when we refurbished. Sam.

Comfortable, great place, ideal holiday stay

  • 5 of 5

Would highly recommend and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Before we arrived the owner Samantha was very helpful. We were a group of 4 Uni students, studying Geology in the local area for a number of weeks (in June-July) and needed a long stay and Samantha was great at helping us sort everything out before we arrived. Good communication and she answered our questions easily and quickly, so we knew it was the right place for us.

The cottage is in a quiet location, just off the main square in the village, very peaceful. We never heard the church bells, the church is located at the back of the cottage. The cottage has a little bit of outdoor space, but that was not an issue for us. Only a short 5 min walk from the free car park and local supermarket which was very useful. Everything on your door step, post office, ATM machine, coffee shops and restaurants. Llanrwst is approx 15 mins drive to Snowdonia national park.

The cottage is very homely, clean and reasonably spacious with everything you need. Beds were very comfortable and the rooms had enough storage. Wifi was a little patchy, but manageable.

Overall nothing bad to say about this little place. We were very happy spending our time here.

cosy cottage in Llanrwst centre

  • 4 of 5

We booked this for a Christmas break for 6 and found it rather small for 6 people- more suitable for 4, though that would be pricey. The bunk bedroom had a bad damp patch and hardly any floor space (more cramped than a YHA room). Although the accommodation was well equipped in many ways, with some thoughtful touches (eg complimentary chocolates, wine and Christmas crackers), it would have been nice to have a large pan for cooking and more than one oven shelf. The fridge was also small for 6 people and any cartons of juice, milk etc had to be stored on the their side on the shelf. These were minor issues which are easily rectified.

Owner's Response: Thanks for taking the time to review the property and for writing lovely comments about the level of cleanliness, location and warmth in our visitors book. We think it's a 'hidden gem' too! Firstly I must apologise for the damp. This patch literally appeared overnight and, since your visit, we have taken steps to rectify the problem which has been brought on by the extraordinarily wet Winter this year. Thank you also for the feedback about the oven shelf and pan - both are now available in the property. We were unaware that the fridge door drinks holder had been broken - this will be resolved ASAP. Regarding the size of the accommodation, we describe the bunk room as 'snug' and therefore more suitable for children than adults but I am sorry that room did not live up to your expectations. The cost of your visit reflected the peak Christmas holiday season. An off-peak (non school holiday week) at the moment is just £295. I do hope you will visit again to enjoy more local mountain biking at Gwydir Forest. Sam.

Really pleasant weekend

  • 5 of 5

We were a group of 6 in our 20s-30s. Very well presented house in an extremely convenient location, close to pubs and shops. Bedding and beds were very comfortable and clean. Nicely positioned for mountain walking. Tryfan was only a short drive away. Would definitely stay again.
