Lovely Property at Gleneagles

We stayed here for three days over the New Year period. The owner was on-hand to welcome us, show us around the property and tell us about local facilities. He also left us a Welcome hamper which was very much appreciated.

The property is within easy walking distance of Gleneagles hotel and also walkable to Auchterarder (which we did one day).

The owner was available at any point when we needed him and we felt very well looked after.

We would certainly return.

Amenities include the famous Gleneagles championship Golf courses which hosted the Ryder cup in 2014. For hillwalkers & hikers the Trossachs, Loch Tay & Loch Earn Hills are all within easy reach offering many Munroes and Corbetts or forrest trails to explore. Other activities available include fishing, shooting cycling and indoor tennis. Local whisky distilleries The Famous Grouse and Tullibardine have tours daily. Gleneagles train station connects with the major shopping cities of Edinburgh and Glasgow in around an hour. There are a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and bars nearby in Gleneagles village or the towns of Auchterarder and Crieff.
