A lovely and bright 3 bedroom family holiday home, close to all amenities and the beach of Albir. Benidorm is 10 minutes away by car or bus and the local attractions and theme parks too.

With a private swimming pool and secure garden this property is popular with families and holiday guests wishing to have a peaceful and relaxing holiday with the added advantage of Albir and Benidorm a few minutes away.

Entering the house you will find a large kitchen fully equipped for your stay, leading to the dining area and living room, which has a large flat screen TV with UK TV channels and WIFI throughout. There is a sofa bed offering guests additional sleeping space if needed at no extra cost, please pre book prior to arrival. From the large patio doors there is a secure garden area with outdoor seating, sunbeds, BBQ and a private pool.

Upstairs consists of 2 double bedrooms with fitted wardrobes, the master bedroom has an en suite shower room and a balcony overlooking the swimming pool, the other double room enjoys the mountain views inland. There is a twin room and a family bathroom also on this level.

The house has hot and cold air conditioning throughout which is payable via coin meter during your stay. For security there is also a fitted safe for your use. Bed linen and towels are provided for your stay and if required there is a travel cot and high chair provided for babies.

About Chris or Sara Richardson

We live and work in Brighton, Sussex. I am an Architect and have my own practice and Sara works as a Nurse testing children's hearing.

We have a good friend who lives very near the property and we bought the house off plan taking possession of it in May 2005.

The house is part of a long term plan where we hope to be in a position to spend time in Spain when we reach retirement in a few years time.

Our family of three children, their other halves and our granddaughter are big fans of the house and the town where it is situated.

Why Chris or Sara Richardson chose L'Alfàs del Pi

The house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday with some fabulous beaches nearby. Alternatively if you are looking for something more active then there are a variety of relaxing or challenging walks.

There are also many interesting places within walking distance and other places worth visiting by car such as the hill village of Guadalest, the guitar Museum at Gata de Gorges, the Theme park at Terra Mitica and the water park at Benidorm.

The town of Albir is a buzzy place which is far less commercial than Benidorm and has a new museum following the recent discovery of ancient ruins. There are static and visiting craft markets and open air cinema events.One of the most satisfying things that we like to do is to walk along the promenade early evening to soak up the atmosphere.

What makes this house unique

The resort is conveniently situated and about a 40 minute drive from Alicante airport. There is a wide range of different shops, bars and restaurants in the town.

You can always take a day trip to Valencia or walk locally to Altea.

Absolutely Fantastic Villa - Would recommend

From beginning to end, the process of booking the villa was fine no complaints at all

Arrival at the villa was smooth and everything was discussed with us with the cleaners as to where everything was

There was a lovely touch of some wine, milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits and crisps which was much appreciated

The air conditioning was an absolute godsend and we made full use of the pool, which was excellent as there were already some pool noodles and inflatables to make the most of - We left an inflatable alligator for the next person!

The rooms were of excellent size and property was very well decorated

There was also a comprehensive welcome pack - So thank you for that

Lovely, bright, well-equipped house is quiet, family-friendly area

We enjoyed a lovely two weeks here 1st to 15th July. This is a lovely, bright, airy, three-bedroom house in a quiet, family-friendly residential area. We did a return taxi from Alicante Airport, however, next time, we’d happily hire a car as it’s easy driving around this area. The house has off-street parking at the front door – so completely convenient!

The house is well-equipped and is especially child-friendly –stair gate, stroller, high chair, mattress for a travel cot, children’s books, etc. It boasts a safe, secluded, secure private garden area – great for children. Apart from the private pool at the house, there is access available to lovely pools at the ‘complex’ - located beside the house. There are two lovely pools here: a large “toddler” pool and a deeper pool for older children/adults. Pools are surrounded by a grassy area, which makes it a lovely environment.

The villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Two bedrooms have double beds, while third bedroom has twin beds. Master bedroom has a roomy en suite. All rooms in the house have shutters which help keep the house cool during the day, and offer great security should you be away from the house. Air Con is such a plus and works efficiently. We cooked every other night. There are several large supermarkets locally, (all stock familiar brands, if you don’t fancy learning new dishes). Large fridge/freezer ensures you can stock up. Local taxis are very reasonable and we found all drivers most friendly and helpful.

Outdoor area at the house was great – large table and chairs with canopy for great al fresco dining, a large BBQ, sun chairs, arm chairs, outdoor shower for pre / post pool rinse, another table and chairs on the patio – we did our evening dining there, and of course, the lovely pool.

Approx. 10/15 minute downhill walk to La Playa. Fab makets locally– we especially liked Albir Market and Alfaz Market.

We did a day trip to Cala Finestrat Beach just the far side of Benidorm. Gorgeous sandy beach– would recommend. Although clean & clear water, Albir beach is pebbly and gets deep very close to shore (Local shops sell beach shoes which I’d recommend buying; approx €6 - €10)

TV gets UK channels – handy for evening wind-down. Free WiFi. And finally, fantastic owners – Chris and Sara were absolutely a delight to deal with – excellent, speedy communication with such a warm, friendly manner – thank you both for a wonderful holiday in L’Albir!!

Lovely villa in a quiet residential area. Very well managed by Tracy.

I stayed at Casa Zoro for a week 22nd till 29th April with 2 friends for my 60th birthday. The villa was lovely, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It had 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin room all of which were a good size. The kitchen was really well equipped and we did quite a bit of cooking. The outdoor area was fabulous, plenty of room to sit and a lovely outdoor pool. The villa is a about a 15 minute walk into Albir, walking back may take a little longer because it is up hill. Tracy the lady who managed the property was really helpful, she picked us up and took us back to the airport and gave us a good handover when we arrived at the villa. There is a safe which is really usefull, good choice of tv channels and plenty of maps and leaflets about the local area.

Well equipped holiday home

A very nice stay at this quiet house. Well equipped with freeview tv and wifi..A warm welcome from the house manager and although we had no problems it was reassuring to know she was close by. We are happy to be returning in October.

Lovely villa in s really quite location. Nice walk down to town.

We had a lovely stay and Tracy and Darren were really friendly and helpful. The only gripe I have is the wifi which it said we were charged for but was very intermittent i had taken time from work to be with my husband who was recovering from an illness but I still needed to work and it wasn't until we arrived was I told the wifi was limited. I think this should be stated on the website. But apart from that we enjoyed our stay immensely
