Bank Springs Brewery is a Grade II Historic Listed Building, formerly a

working brewery with unique and original external features, part of which has been converted to an attractive 3 bedroom house with a spacious kitchen dining room, two living rooms, family bathroom, two en-suits and large enclosed yard. Bank Springs Brewery is set in its own grounds with ample parking, a spacious walled garden, bbq area and with stunning views of Black Combe and local fells of the Lake District national Park.

ACCOMMODATION:

Bank Springs offers comfortable spacious accommodation comprising of a large arched hallway inviting you into two reception rooms one with open fire made from local brewery slate. Both rooms are cozy, you have the choice to relax, listen to music or sit comfortably watching TV.

Bank Springs has a large well-fitted bright spacious kitchen with dining area-giving access to a large enclosed drive in yard. There is a small utility room joining the kitchen and a tiled bathroom with electric shower and three-piece bathroom suite.

The staircase leads to a spacious landing with three large bedrooms.

The master bedroom is bright and roomy with a double bed, en-suite shower room and extensive views looking over Black Combe.

A middle bedroom has two single beds, full sized cot corner, sink and again with great views.

At the end of the hallway is a large family bedroom with a double bed, two single beds and en-suite shower room, this room has plenty of space and with good views over Black Combe and views to the front of the garden.

Electricity, coal and wood are available free during your stay at Bank Springs Brewery

The property is nicely decorated throughout and has comfortable furnishings. There is full central heating (oil), double-glazing and roof insulation.

FACILITIES:

Electric cooker with separate electric hob,

washing machine, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer, iron and board, cooking/eating utensils, crockery, tea towels, two freeview TV’s, video player, dvd/radio player and board games, books and a selection of dvd’s and video’s to watch. There are some children's toys and books and you are welcome to use the table tennis table, old but lots of fun.

If you wish to fetch your bikes there is plenty of room to store them undercover.

Bed linen is provided and beds are made ready for your arrival, we do ask guests to bring their own towels.

A cot and high chair are available for you to use, cot bedding can be supplied.

Bank Springs Brewery is set in the beautiful countryside of West Cumbria on the outskirts of a small village called Kirksanton. Surrounded by stunning views of the local fells, with beautiful beaches, neighbouring the Lake District National Park making an excellent base for walking, fell climbing, beach walks and studying local wildlife.

The location of Bank Springs Brewery is ideal for visiting the coast, historic towns and the whole of the Lake District national Park and Lakes , Coniston, Windermere, Ambleside and Wastwater are all within 30-40 minutes drive. Enjoy the hospitality of local inns, play golf, enjoy pony trekking at nearby Silecroft or riding at The Cumbria Heavy Horse Centre in Whicham Valley. Visit the seaside village of Haverigg explore the wonderful sand dunes and beach .Walk the sea wall and Hodbarrow Nature reserve.

The main town of Millom is situated 3 miles away with ample shopping facilities, local train station, museum and park.

At the end of an era JW Brockbank & Sons Bank Springs Brewery at Kirksanton was purchased by Matthew Brown and finally ceased brewing beer in the early 1950's, My grandfather purchased the disused brewery and converted part into a family home which is now our lovely self catering accommodation.
