A lovely week at Waterside Cottage

  • 5 of 5

Andrew and Pauline made us feel incredibly welcome to their gorgeous cottage. We had a fantastic week's stay. The cottage has all the mod cons that you could want and is beautifully finished. It is clean, bright and modern, with a lovely little terrace/patio to relax on. Waterside has a great location; it's tucked back from the main road so it's private but is also really close to Malton and York, allowing for easy excursions. You are within 15 minutes of York park and ride and attractions such as Castle Howard are walkable! We'd love to come back some day.

Great visit to Yorkshire in a lovely cottage

  • 4 of 5

Lovely cottage in a really pretty setting, making the most of the views. Immaculate - so clean - perhaps could do with a little bit more furnishing to enhance cottage even more. Overall a lovely stay and enjoyed sitting out in pretty garden. Great access to villages and coast.

Home from Home

  • 4 of 5

Enjoyed our stay at Waterside Cottage - perfectly situated for visiting Yorkshire's lovely towns, villages and coast. Cottage comfortable and equipped with everything needed for a week's stay, and hosts who were attentive but not invasive. At first there was perhaps more traffic noise than we had envisaged but soon got used to that and even started listening out for the trains each morning.

Lovely place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

A very lovely and spotless cottage in a beautiful part of the country and situated in well kept grounds. It was ideally located for York and all the other places we wanted to visit. Andrew was very helpful at all times and gave us some good tips for places to visit - Goathland and Whitby being the two of them. I would recommend to others!
