About Kelly Simpson

Having enjoyed many family holidays in Cornwall, we never really discovered the St. Ives area before. By chance we had the opportunity to spend a week in St.Ives, we just could not believe what we had missed out on all this time, we loved the sandy beaches the good quality restaurants (we do like good food) and the local friendly people. We left wanting a small piece of this for ourselves. We hope that all our visitors come away from their holiday feeling how we felt after our time in beautiful Carbis Bay.

Notes on accommodation: The building dating back to 1750's traditionally built of granite and full of character on the outside, yet restored and refurbished in 2010 giving you the luxury and facilities you would expect of a brand new build inside. We can supply a baby package, consisting of a cot, highchair and changing mat, a small charge will apply. Cot bedding not supplied. Outside: Outside a well maintained shared garden with table and 4 chairs, with a private path from the back of the garden which joins up to the beautiful coastal path to Carbis Bay beach and St.Ives. To the front a paved area with some flower beds and your own parking space. There is a shared bike store. Utility Room: Cupboard housing washing machine, iron and ironing board, hoover. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and towels are included together with tea towels. You will only need beach towels and flannels. Also white fluffy robes and slippers are supplied.

5 minutes walk to the sandy beach of Carbis Bay beach via the coastal footpath. 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes in the car to the town centre of St.Ives and surrounding beaches of Porthminster, Porthmeor, and Porthgwidden.


7 minute walk to Carbis Bay station. Connects to St.ives 3mins and St. Erth 5mins. Serving Bath, Bristol, and Paddington. Newquay airport approx 30 mins by car. Plymouth Channel Port 74 miles.


St Ives 5 minutes by car, Tescos supermarket 2 minutes by car. Penzance 8 miles. Lands End 18 miles, Porthcurno and Minack theatre 18miles. Padstow 33 miles. Eden project 34 miles.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Fridays, arrival time is 4pm. And departure time is 10am.
These times may be flexible with prior arrangement at time of booking.

Short stays are available out of season, please enquire about prices. We strongly recommend cancellation insurance as this is not included. Keys available on day of arrival.
