Chez Grey offers breathtaking views in a spectacular setting, amongst magnificent olive and cypress trees.
Situated on the exclusive north east coast, the house is surrounded by ancient olive trees on the hillside in the picturesque village of Sinies.
Beholding uninterrupted views chez grey overlooks the bay of Kerasia beach and beyond to the mountains of albania.
The house:
A spacious four bedroom house, with extensive deck offering an indoor/outdoor lifestyle.
Its stylish, upscale open plan design more than comfortably sleeps 8 people, all the while providing plenty of privacy within its pockets of quietness inside & out.
With its traditional corfiot tiled roof & high ceilinged rounded interior beams, the house speaks of a Greek ‘old meets new’ charm.
Upon entry to main hallway, you are immediately enchanted with sea & mountain views across to albania. The hallway opens up to tall sliding doors, leading out to the main outdoor living area.
The spacious interior lounge with its open fireplace highlights that chez grey is more than just a summer home. Its generous space provides relaxation for all.
Wall to wall sliding doors open up to the over-sized sunken exterior dining area.
The lounge leads on to the open plan gourmet kitchen dining area, which comes complete with modern appliances.
The media den is found adjacent to the kitchen.
Four generously sized and well-appointed bedrooms, one with twin beds which can easily be put together as a king upon request and all complete with en suites. (two have bathtubs with over head showers.)
Each bedroom offers its own expansive unique sea view and private outdoor lounging. Master bedroom and two bedrooms are located on the main floor with the fourth bedroom downstairs at pool level.
Bookshelves are well stocked both in lounge and in library nook downstairs.
The road:
A short five minute drive will lead you to the picturesque harbour village of kassiopi, with its many varied shops and array of taverna’s and restaurants.
Kassiopi is a village catering to all ages.
Once a small harbour village, agios stefanos will charm you with it’s thriving local Greek community and sweeping views of its safe harbour and across to albania. Enjoy a day’s boat rental followed by a late lunch or dinner at one of agios stefanos’traditional tavernas.
Nearby supermarket of sinies is one of many local supermarkets, which can answer your grocery needs.
The walk:
A natural sheep herders path just a mere 50 metres away from the house leads you on a fifteen minute steep but easy walk to the stunning kerasia bay. (not ideal for the elderly or young children)
The pretty bays of kouloura, kalami and agni are also close by and walkable between one another.
The north east coast of corfu is an ideal spot for those who enjoy walking, mt panokrator and old perithia are close by.
Make chez grey the perfect serene and private getaway for you!
My husband & I have both traveled extensively throughout the world both leisurely & via our working lives. We seem to typically stay in the same place for a period of 3-5 years before moving on again.
Always sad to say 'goodbye' to friends when moving to new destinations, so Chez Grey is the stability which brings us all together again.
Allie purchased this villa in 2012
Whilst working & living in Athens, we fell in love with Greece - hard not to!
We loved the charm & rich heritage of Corfu, along with its year round lifestyle & set out to buy land. We designed & nurtured Chez Grey to how it is today. Our hope is that we have created a 'home away home' for our visitors!
Chez Grey was uniquely designed to be a year round home.
We created an indoor/outdoor lifestyle
We went with our family! 3 kids ages 2,6 and 7. I was nervous for the long travel but it all turned out well as the kids loved it, we loved it, and everyone had a amazing time. The pool is absolutely incredible - kind of like you're suspended amongst the olive trees and overlooking the most breathtaking view. Cocktails with friends, amazing kitchen to prep meals as I love to cook. Everything was super clean and fresh. Great sense of style. We loved everything. We did some half day trips into Corfu, went to a water park that the kids loved, there was a festival in the harbor that was super cool, and lastly the great dinners down by the beach where the adults can lounge and the kids can run around and be free. Would go again for sure and hopefully stay longer next time. Loved it!

We had a great stay at Chez Grey. Everything had been thought through carefully, and nothing was too much trouble for Sam, who was discreet, but extremely responsive whenever we wanted him. This was also true of all cleaners/pool carers etc who were friendly but not intrusive. We felt as though the house was ours for the duration, and fully appreciated all thought that had gone into it. Thanks, we hope to come back.
For location, price, pool and view you will struggle to do better on Corfu. We have stayed in Corfu many times and love the North East corner all of which is within easy reach from Chez Grey. Highly recommend.
Beautiful villa in such a stunning location. A definite pool with a view! It was our second stay in this lovely house. Many thanks Allie.
We have just had a weeks stay in Chez Grey. The villa is fabulous
with stunning views. It was everything we hoped for and more.
As we were taking a 14 month baby we had asked for stair gates
cot and high chair. Everything was there on our arrival. Sam our
wonderful contact couldn't have done more for us. All in all it was a
perfect holiday.
The house, location and view are very beautiful. Sam the property manager is a very genuine and nice guy. We hired a speed boat and had a wonderful day on a secluded beach (recommend So Tiros boats). We had not realized until we were going past on the boat, that we were 2 small bays away from Rothschild villa - would have invited them round, to compare pool sizes...
We enjoyed the property very much. If we are very picky there were quite a lot of weeds by the fabulous pool. We were not sure about some of the African decorations but the property was great. We loved the local village St Stefano, the property was clean although it would have been nice to get clean towels midweek as well as sheets. I would recommend the property. Sam was great so yes I am pretty satisfied.
