Fully renovated farmhouses arranged around a central courtyard sleeping 24/26 and 20 mn from the beach

* Our properties can be rented individually or together - So, they can sleep from 4/6 to 26 people.

(We don't accept enquiries from groups exceeding 26 persons including children).

Our 5-star property is a farm house beautifully converted complete with a large private swimming pool and a tennis court, into charming homes to rent.

It is located in the typical village of Sempy where life continues much as it always has.

It is also situated in the heart of the “Pays des 7 Vallées” near the Opal Coast, the Somme Estuary and the towns of Hesdin, Montreuil-sur-Mer, Le Touquet, Berck, Merlimont and Saint Valéry-sur-Somme.

Cottage N°1 : La Longère (sleeps10)

Entrance in to a very large ground floor area consisting of an open plan kitchen, very large dining and sitting areas.

KITCHEN : Fully equipped.

LAUNDRY ROOM

DOWNSTAIRS TOILET with Flush WC and small hand basin

DINING AREA : large dining table with room for 12 .

LIVING AREA : Two large sofas, coffee table, wood burning stove.

This room has a large picture window and two sets of French doors leading on to a private patio area with direct access to tennis court, swimming pool and rear garden area.

BEDROOM 1 : King size bed + BATHROOM with shower and TOILET.

BEDROOM 2 : King size bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers

BEDROOM 3 : Twin beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers

BATHROOM with flush WC, basin, bath with fixed shower and glass screen.

* This combination of rooms is mirrored at the other end of the house with BEDROOMS 4 and 5. This is accessed by a second staircase off the living room making this an ideal property for two families or anyone who likes a sense of independence and privacy.

We are Sophie & Alain.

We bought our property in 2012. We love it because it is quiet and peaceful but just a few miles from the medieval city of Montreuil sur mer and the beautiful beaches of the Opale coast.

We always try to do our best to make our guests enjoy their holidays.

After many years of taking holiday accomodation in the UK and Europe, Les 3 Longeres is easily the best we've had, and we've had some very good ones along the way. We took all three properties for our annual family jaunt and had an incredible time thanks in a large part to the fine attention to detail my the owner in her desire to pamper, cosset, and entertain her guests and make them incredibly comfortable and relaxed. In a long history of great family holidays our stay at Les 3 Longeres was the best.

The activities :

Don't rush through!! This area known as Nord Pas de Calais is often overlooked in the general dash to the South. But we have more than 35 miles of wide open sandy beaches surrounded by gentle countryside, huge skies, medieval towns and villages, restaurants and markets, and of course always 'la Bonne Vie', there is enough to keep the most ardent Francophile amused for many happy days.

- There are a lot of walks and gentle stolls around the village and in the area.

- If hustle and bustle of a more sophisticated nature is required then we are close to Montreuil sur Mer. It is famous for its majestic medieval ramparts, the Wine Society and the wide selection of restaurants. Montreuil sur Mer is well known for it's ancient battlements and its key role in WW1 and WW2. It is one of the prettiest largely preserved walled medieval towns in northern France. Every year since 1998 they have received a 4 star national award for their beautiful flower displays.

Today Montreuil is known more for it's gastronomy and as the head quarters of The Wine Society.With two top restaurants both with Michelin Stars and enough bars to cater for most purses and palates there is lots to tempt and perhaps an evening stroll along the ramparts just before dinner can be an evocative and romantic memory.

You can also spend a day in Le Touquet with its active beach, elegant shops and casino, busy night life and twice weekly market.

One of the oldest amusement parks in France can be found at Bagatelle which is about 50 minutes from us on the coast a little further south from Le Touquet.

Further along the coast with its vast stretch of beautiful clean sand Le Crotoy offers pleasures of a more sporty nature; wind surfing, sand yachting, and sailing to be some. Or hide behind your mussels and cider at one of the beach side restaurants as we usually do!

For garden lovers, there are many beautiful gardens to be found here, the Abbey de Valloires originating from the Cistercian in the 12th Century has one of the best including its garden of the five senses.

Nearby is also Azincourt where there is a fabulous new interactive museum for everything to do with battles and medieval Armour!

There are activities all year round, from Kite festivals in nearby Berck, to tennis tournaments at Le Touquet. There is motorbike racing on the beach, excellent rounds of golf at one of the many elegant courses, wine festivals, Michelin starred restaurants, flower festivals, fishing, kayaking and horse riding....plenty to keep all of the family busy. Of course there are always plenty of places to just sit and watch Tout le Monde continue on its way
