Casa Helena is a newly refurbished fabulous four double bedroom villa with a Moroccan theme. Set in spacious grounds on several levels, with a private swimming pool and a separate one bedroom garden apartment .The villa is not overlooked at all . It is decked out stylishly with great outdoor seating areas, 8 sun beds with nice thick cushions , a lovely outdoor summer kitchen , and a newly built BBQ and Paella station . The gardens and pool are peaceful and beautifully floodlit at night, as well as spectacular views from all around the villa and ocean glimpses from the roof terrace. Situated only a short 15 to 20 minute walk to the beach and Moraira town centre.

NOTE .... The villa can be split up and the top floor with 3 beds sleeping 6 can be rented separately outside the peak summer period .

The 1 bed appartment sleeping 2 can be also rented separately outside the peak summer period . Please enquire for prices .

About Miss Helen Ward

Originally I'm a farmers daughter from Cheshire . I now live in Windsor in the UK After having worked extensively all over the world and have decided on Moraira as my second home as it is a beautiful place to kick back and relax by the beach. I am a designer and the villa is my second home . I spent 2 years renovating it and now I'm ready to enjoy it and would love to share it with others . I am a bit of a beach bum

and water sport's fanatic hence the Kayaks and SUP boards being available to guests .

Casa Helena is situated next to the fabulous, swish 4 star Swiss Hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel with spa facilities and a great buffet breakfast where villa guests can dine if they wish (15 euros per head). Casa Helena sits in an elevated position overlooking a green vista, fringed with palm trees to one side and hills dotted with beautiful villas to the other.

Just a 20 minute stroll down the not too steep hill and you are in the picturesque town of Moraira with its pretty beaches, bars, restaurants and marina. You really have the best of both worlds as when in the villa you feel like you are deep in the Spanish countryside yet you are actually only a stones throw from buzz of the town.

Great location and fantastic villa

The villa has everything you would want and is extremely comfortable. Moraira is a little gem, also very close to Calpe and many other beaches for day trips while you are in the area. The owner Helen is very hands on and helpful and always available, highly recommended.

A lovely and spacious property

We stayed for a week in October, having rented the entire property. For a family of 5 we had acres of space - the downstairs apartment could have easily held another couple or a couple and a baby.

The pool was refreshing, the apartment tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The gardens has plenty of space, which the kids loved. Lots of places for them to discover!

The outside kitchen was perfect for enjoying the warm evenings.

Helen was responsive to all our queries, which was really reassuring. Moraira is a lovely place for a holiday, and Helen's villa made it a perfect visit.

Brilliant place and beautiful Villa.

This place is sensational. We stayed here for my retirement treat with my family having visited the beautiful town of Moraira on many occasions whilst stopping at my apartment just down the coast..

The villa is spacious and excellently maintained inside and out. It has been renovated recently and Helen has managed to keep the authentic and original feel whilst updating it with everything you need for a family holiday. The villa and grounds have a plethora of different dining and relaxing areas in both the shade and sun to suit your mood. The pool is ideal for cooling off and is clearly regularly cleaned and well maintained. The pictures don't actually do it justice and the apartment in the grounds is the complete package on its own!!!

The beach and town are a good walk but only a 5 minute (8 euro taxi) - however once you have shopped you don't have to move if you like poolside and the restaurant on Calle Haya (Ca Pepe) a 5 minute walk away is one of the best to which I have ever been.. The service was excellent, the food devine and the bill a lot less than I expected!!

I have spent a lot of time in Spain and Moraira is as good a place as any and the Villa superb. There is lots to do for the family from Jet Skis to swimming in the waterfalls at Les Fonts De L'Algar.

We had a great time here and have already recommended it to several friends..

Northern Ireland

Spacious, well presented family villa

Helen (the owner) was very helpful throughout our booking process. From our initial enquiry to until we returned home she was always prompt and friendly in answering any questions we had.

On arrival, everthing was exactly as it should be; villa was clean and tidy, well maintained and true to the description on owners direct. If anything, the description had underplayed the amount of outside space the villa had; it had so many lovely seating areas that you could go to throughout the day.

We travelled as a large family - 2 grandparents, brother and sister in law and baby, and myself and my husband with our 3 and 6 year old. The villa layout was perfect for the family. My brother, his wife and their one year old had the master bedroom, plenty of room for the cot. My husband and I and our kids had the two bedrooms with the shared bathroom (this was ideal as there was a door to access this space and it felt like our own suite.) My mum and dad had the garden apartment - this gave them some extra 'grown up' space.

The kitchen was well equipped and the pool was perfect. It is very obvious that Helen has lovingly restored and renovated the villa to a high standard, keeping many of the original Spanish features. The overall effect was a very peaceful and restful villa.

Helen helped us organise a private yoga instructor one morning and we had a class in the bottom garden. This was a really great experience and one I'd recommend (thanks Anita!)

There's a little bar past the garden centre nearby and ca Pepe is a lovely restaurant about 20 mins walk away. Because we are a family with a buggy and a 3 year old it meant the walk into town was a bit too far for us - about 2km walk downhill from the villa to Moraira town centre. It's through a residential area and it doesn't have footpaths the entire way. That said we could get a taxi for 8 euros into the centre of Moraira. The taxi drivers were always prompt and friendly.

We would recommend Le Soleil in town for dinner and Artesano for lunch/ snacks (check out the ham and cheese wrap - delicious!!)

Overall, a fanatic experience and very special holiday. Thank you for opening your villa up Helen! 😀򐀊

Great villa

We've stayed for 5 days-4 nights for a yoga retreat holiday. The villa is absolutely beautiful with lots of space and snug areas where you can read, rest, sunbath or work on your computer. I couldn't get enough of the sofas and cushions to chill out with my books! Helen was a great host, listening and adapting as much as she could the life in the villa to our plans and needs. The food was good and delicious. Rooms are big with plenty of private sitting areas indoor and outdoor.

After landing in Alicante we took a bus from the airport floor -2 for £25 pp and Helen has met us at the bus stop. There are cheaper ways to get there by combining bus and tram changing half way, for example at Benidorm. Moraira is a nice town with a good market on Fridays, lots of restaurants and clean beaches. A walk from the town to villa takes 20 minutes or 5 minutes by taxi for 7EUR, however the host was always happy to drive us if we said we were going to the town in advance. Moraira town and the villa are very convenient to get to. You might want to rent a car or a bike if you want to move around a lot but you see many people walk from their villas to the town and Helen doesn't mind driving if it's local. The area has lots to offer and Helen is updated on what's on including concerts, markets, sea sports, etc. There's a stunning Swiss Hotel next door where you can dine or have a drink if you don't want to go to the town. The villa is also very private with all its facilities inward hidden from the drive way.

We really enjoyed our holiday. Thank you, Helen, for hosting us!

The perfect villa for a perfect family holiday

Casa Helena was the perfect choice for our family holiday. There were six of us and my ten-month-old nephew and every one of us had a brilliant holiday. The villa and garden apartment have been recently renovated to a particularly high standard and had absolutely everything we could have wished for. The outside spaces are wonderful - with many hidden areas of garden, plus the lovely sunny pool area with plenty of shaded seating. It is clean and homely and the owner texted me on our arrival day to check that everything was OK. She had also ensured that a cot and high chair (both brand new) were available, as we were the first party with a child to stay. The villa is located a little way from the beaches and town of Moraira with plenty of excellent places to eat and, with a car, it's also ideally located to explore the breathtakingly beautiful Costa Blanca mountains a little way inland. There's a good restaurant just a 10-15 minute walk away (Ca Pepe).

Every one of our party agreed that Casa Helena is a wonderful place to spend a holiday and we're already planning our next trip!

Please note the villa is in a residential area and so we do not accept guests who want to party all night and make excessive noise. We hope our guests will be mindful of the property and its environment. It is situated on the edge of a green space and is strictly a non smoking residence due to potential fire hazards.
The villa cleaning fee is €120 and the linnen charge is €10 per person and must be paid in resort in cash in euros on arrival unless it has been paid for through owners direct prior to arrival .
Aircon is included in the peak summer rental period . If aircon is required outside these dates an extra charge of £100 per week will be charged . Excessive usage of the aircon may result in an extra charge .
