Why Dan and Rosie Quinn chose Lincolnshire

We have lived in and around Lincoln for more than 40 years and we love it!

On your travels, have you ever come across a small, empty cottage and stopped to take a closer look? For the last 6 years, we have been driving past the quaint row of cottages on Church Lane thinking how lovely they were and how rarely they came on the market...until one day we saw a for sale sign and we just had to take a look. The garden was a sorry empty space and the house had been abandoned after being part renovated, and there was no kitchen or bathroom to speak of, but the cottage was full of charm...all it needed was some vision and a lot of tender loving care.

This is how it all began in 2014 and now No. 24 is ready to be enjoyed by you.

What makes this cottage unique

The cottage manages to be both airy and yet small but perfectly formed, which is one of the things we loved about it instantly. We've kept the decor both simple and luxurious, so you can really switch off in a peaceful environment which feels like you are pampering yourself.

Lincoln weekend

  • 5 of 5

This is the perfect cottage for exploring Lincoln. It's a beautiful well-furnished and well-equipped cottage and an easy walk to the centre of Lincoln. The beds are comfortable, the shower is great, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the back garden with a cup of tea. Dan and Rosie provided a lovely welcome basket and couldn't have been more helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.

A lovely little cottage with all mod cons. A five minute walk to the catherdral and surrounding area had great places to eat and drink. Can't recommend this property highly enough.

Great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Had a 2 night stay here with my 3 sisters. The cottage was just as described, in a great location & spacious enough for 4 people.

We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped & use of the garden was a bonus

Dan was there to greet us, to explain the heating etc & was generally very helpful with lots of information.

Would certainly recommend this cottage & will hopefully get chance to stay again.
