Devon Beach Court is a spacious two bedroom apartment comfortably accommodating up to four. The bright and airy apartment is located on the Esplanade just a few minutes walk from the award-winning Woolacombe beach.

Set in a private building with 12 apartments and off road parking to the rear (one space per apartment), Devon Beach Court is the ideal home-away-from-home for families or couples looking to enjoy a holiday beside the sea.

The apartment is located on the second floor of the building and can be accessed either via the lift or stairs. Inside it is light and tastefully decorated with a wonderful contemporary feel. There are also plenty of homely touches to make your stay here nice and comfortable.

The open plan living room is nice and large and leads to the apartment's private balcony, which has side sea views over Barricane Beach. The living area has been nicely divided into three sections, including the lounge with two comfy sofas, a TV and a DVD player; the dining area with good sized table seating up to five (high chair also available), and finally the well-equipped kitchen complete with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A tumble dryer and a range of equipment for the beach can be found in the hallway cupboard.

The two bedrooms are situated towards the rear of the apartment and include the Master with double bed and en-suite shower room, and a colour bunk room with full size bunk beds and fun bean bags. A travel cot is also available at the apartment. The final room is the family bathroom, which is fitted with a bath, a WC and a sink.

Whist staying at the apartments guests can also take advantage of the large communal balcony, which has seating and stunning views of the ocean stretching from Baggy Point to Mortehoe; it is also from here that you can watch the sun set behind Lundy Island.

Horse riding, golf and many other water sports not available on Woolacombe beach can be enjoyed in the local area.

Devon Beach Court is located on the Esplanade in the beautiful beach-side village of Woolacombe on the North Devon coast. This gorgeous village is not only home to one of the best beaches in the world, it also has a range of excellent shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes.

The award-winning Woolacombe Beach is more than three miles long and features golden sands backed by sand dunes. It also has lovely blue sea ideal for families with young children, as well as those that enjoy water sports. Surf lessons are given onsite and cater for all abilities, and many also have wetsuit and surfboard hire available.

After a day on the beach retreat to the village where there are numerous cafes, bars and restaurants, the Red Barn is a firm favourite among surfers and has some of the best views of the beach. Alternatively, during the summer months on certain evenings at Barricane Beach, which is situated just over the road from the apartment, guests can indulge in a beach curry, just bring your own wine and blanket and enjoy a the food, which is cooked onsite as the sun sets.

The apartment is also only a short drive away from some of North Devon's other glorious beaches, including Saunton Sands and Croyde.

For those looking to explore the area on foot, Mortehoe is just a mile away and is set on the South West Coast Path. From here guests can also walk to Bull Point Lighthouse and Morte Point, which has some of the best views in North Devon.

Other nearby locations well worth visiting include, the Victorian harbour town of Ilfracombe, which has its own theatre and cinema, as well as a harbour where boats offer not only tours around the coast but also trips to Lundy Island, wildlife cruises and fishing trips. The villages of Lynton and Lynmouth are also close by and offer an excellent entrance point to the Exmoor National Park.

For the children nearby attractions include The Milky Way, Exmoor Zoo, The Big Sheep, Watermouth Castle and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park.

Perfect

The property in Woolacombe was perfect. It was spotlessly clean and every thing you could possibly need, even down to toothpaste, for the perfect stay.

Jenny the house keeper texted to say the apartment was ready early and access was as easy as the info sent said it would be. It was ideally situated overlooking the beach yet close to town centre.

Jenny and her team, if she has one, did a great job of keeping the apartment in 100% top class condition.

Wonderful apartment for every need!

This apartment was great. It was spacious, the master bedroom was big with an en suite too. It was clean and tidy throughout and had everything you needed & more. Toys & books provided for little ones. Small balcony but nice view of sea. Main balcony very big. Communications between house keeper & myself made it easy and smooth from the start of booking. Will definitely stay again very happy!!

Great Location

The property was very clean and well maintained. It was a perfect location for myself and my family to have a relaxing week holiday. The Sri-Lanka curry was great to enjoy a delicious meal with friends while our young children played on the beach and rocks.

A perfect place

The apartment was just as described. Everything we needed was there for us, even checking the bedding for my allergy. To have the car off the road, and still be on the front is a winning combination. Many places say fridge freezer but mean fridge & ice box, but this was equal sized so if you want to shop & eat in it's perfect. So many places to go around, fabulous beaches if you want to stay close and so big you are not on top of each other as you settle down for the sun. It's on our list to return too.

Great week in Woolcombe

Bright, very clean apartment which had everything we needed. The kids loved the bunk beds and we had a great stay. Plenty to do in and around Woolacombe and I would recommend for young families.

Thanks to Jenny for returning my daughters misplaced slippers also, a very welcome touch.
