About the Manager
Paul and partner Trixie have lived at Pine Lodge for the last twelve years, although Trixie has lived there for considerably longer.
We love the house but we are fortunate enough to have a second house in France and would now like to spend some more time there. It seemed a shame to leave our, we think, beautiful home empty and decided to share it with others to enjoy. We hope our guests love it as much as we do.

Why Amanda chose North Devon
We both love North Devon and this is a special spot with beautiful views, tucked away and therefore quiet and yet so close to all the local amenities. These include shops, cinema, theatre, pubs and restaurants, the beautiful beaches with their rugged coastlines and of course the moors. If, like us, you love sport and outdoor activities, you will be spoilt for choice whether it's walking, cycling, riding, sailing, surfing, golf, tennis (even an indoor centre) and many more.
What makes this house unique
Pine Lodge is close to bus stops and within walking distance of pubs, a restaurant and a supermarket. There are footpaths around the property and you can walk down through Anchor woods to the car free Tarka trail. There is a garage/games room offering table tennis, table football and a dart board to enjoy as a pleasant change from watching television on those wet days. It is within delivery distance of supermarkets or takeaways as an alternative to cooking some evenings.

Very and spacious, clean, confortable
The house was more than big enough for our party of 9 and well equipped to meet the needs of everyone from a 6 month old baby to 70 year old grandparents. There was everything one could possibly need to cook and plenty of cutlery and crockery. The garage was very useful for storing bikes and the garden was beautiful and gave plenty of room for children to let off steam. The living room was a comfortable and cosy place to sit in the evening. There were lots of thoughtful touches such as books and games.
Splendid holiday. Beautiful house and surroundings. Everything you need for a home from home feeling. Luckily we had great weather hot and sunny but facilities good for all weathers. Would recommend to family & friends.
Super holiday home
Perfect multi generation home with lovely garden. Perfect for BBQs and outdoor living.
Wonderful home from home
We were two families with five boys aged 10-17 and a dog.
This property gave us all plenty of space, we never felt we were on top of each other.
We never once heard 'I am bored', even with 4 teenage boys, the games room being a great part of that success. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyably holiday.
The kitchen in particular, which was much better equipped than ours at home, with an abundance of quality items, the beds comfy and the layout perfect for two families.
The garden is lovely too and got plenty of sunshine, although worth mentioning if you have a dog or young children it is not secure.
Location wise its perfect, supermarket, beaches and Barnstaple town all within a few miles.
We would very much like to return to Pine Lodge and wholeheartedly recommend it!

The house was really nice . Clean and tidy . Lots of cooking equipment all you could need . Having the extra utility room with a large fridge and freezer was great . Having 2 kettles was really helpful aswell . Enjoyed playing in the garage with the darts , table tennis and bar football . Also made use of some of the board games that were available . Sky sports on the tv went down well with all of us . Interesting books to read . Overall we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend the property
