This stunning property offers a quiet and secluded holiday home in an area that provides something for everyone. It’s only a short walk over the dunes to the renowned surfers beach and another short walk in the other direction to the centre of this lively village, with great pubs, restaurants and shops, offering something for all the family.
Croyde village is literally on the doorstep, and exudes quaint charm albeit with the perfect blend of a cool and invigorating lifestyle. Enjoy a thrilling day surfing or just having fun on one of the fantastic beaches at Croyde, Putsborough and Saunton, then stroll back to your beautiful holiday home, relax, refresh and take another stroll and enjoy a great night out in the village. Alternatively spend the evening in the large garden; immediately outside the house is decking for evening BBQs and at the end of the garden there is a raised decking area overlooking the Croyde headland and stunning sea views. There is also a pine table and chairs ideal for evening alfresco dining.

Back in Woolacombe again but this time we had a lovely apartment. Fantastic week, weather good and lots of delicious scones! Will never stay in a caravan again! Enjoyed visits to Croyde, Barnstaple, Wildlife and Dinosaur Park in Combe Martin and Bude. Now sadly we are off home via Porlock where we bought a wall hanging on the way here so new we need to collect it! We may stop at other place along the way so we can delay going home! Thank you very much for making our stay most enjoyable. We'll definitely be back as my son (6) looks cool in his wetsuit and now loves body boarding!"

Great location....comfortable Place to stay
Well situated for beach and local facilities.....nice generous garden......well equipped......boiler breakdown was quickly sorted....needed tuition on ceramic hobs!

Great property, fantastic location!
I stayed at the fab property for 3 nights as part of a girls getaway. What can I say the property is exactly as described, extremely comfortable indoor living spaces and plenty of garden chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Property was very clean and welcoming when we arrived, with a really nice touch of including a cake, which went down well with a cuppa for us weary travellers. Kitchen was fully equipped, and all the bedrooms were comfortable with nice linens and bath towels. If you are looking at this for a girls getaway like we did, don't be put off my the bunk beds. These are single size beds so plenty big enough and comfortable (proper mattresses) for adults (we're a party in out 50's, so comfort is definitely the name of our game). There are two bathrooms, with toilets and decent showers, plus a third separate toilet. One thing that may be of interest, is apart from 4 internal steps at the end of the hall to the bunk room, bathroom and double room, this property is all on one level. There is also free wi-fi at the property. Directions and check-in instructions were clear and accurate and we had no issues gaining access to the property.
And it is as stated walking distance to the beach. 10 minutes I would say...would definitely recommend this property. Lived up to all expectations.

It's a great location for the beach, town and restaurants. Has a lovely garden to enjoy with sun all day and into the evening. We had 4adults and 4teenagers. We found the living area fine and spacious with 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms there was never any problems.
A nice Kitchen area and a good size dinning table. Around great property. Looking forward to returning next year.
Lovely rental , great location
The property was deceptive from the outside, looking small, but a lot bigger once inside. It was clean and well equipped and has a great secure garden for the kids and dog. Nobody was in next door otherwise you wouldn't have great privacy with windows into next garden and a low fence. Overall we loved the property and had a great holiday for 3 adults, 4 kids and 1 dog. My favourite bit was sitting at the garden table with a drink looking at the great view of the sea. Will definitely stay here again.
Clean, well equipped, perfectly placed for the dunes and the beach. Dog friendly during the quiet season and close to the local village pubs and cafes, most of which were also dog friendly.
The property is 5 minutes walk to the wonderful beach, dunes and the many paths along the cliffs, A couple of hours walking will take you some of the best beaches we've ever visited!
The property itself was spacious, clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished with the added bonus of a great garden space.
We shall definitely be back.

Surfing: The surf - Croyde Bay is acknowledged as one of the best in Britain for its swell and is patrolled from April to November. Other excellent surf beaches include Saunton Sands and Putsborough.
Climbing: Baggy Point has a sandstone slab.
Kite Boarding, Windsurfing, Water Skiing and Wake-boarding: Held on the in shore waters off Instow at high tide, lessons can be arranged through Point Breaks (07776 148679).
Beach volley ball and beach football: Nets are in place all year round on Croyde beach.
Horse Riding: Roylands in Croyde offers rides along many byways and bridleways, offering a variety of routes in and around the village.
Cycling: The flat Tarka Trail runs for miles from Braunton up the River Taw. For the more adventurous road bikers the coastal roads through Woolacombe, Ilfracombe and Combe Martin are breathtaking.
Sea Kayaking: Day trips can be arranged via Sea Kayaking Southwest (01271 813129).
Coastal Walks: Fantastic coastal walks are all around North Devon.
Croyde has it's own beautiful beach, famous for surfing but also great for all the family with miles of golden sands sheltered by dunes. The beach is only a 10 minute walk from the cottage. Also, close by are Saunton Sands and Woolacombe.
Along the coastline of North Devon you will find wonderful beaches but the best are on your doorstep and you won't need to get in the car!

- Notes on accommodation: Pets are accepted at Oyster Cove. Outside: The garden has a wooden decked area with lawn leading up to a raised patio, which has views across the bay. Outside there is an outdoor table and chairs for eight and BBQ, which can be enjoyed on warm summer evenings after a day on the beach. Oyster Cove has its own private outdoor shower that is perfect for cleaning off after a good day on the beach and washing through any wetsuits. There is also a lock-up storage unit for sports equipment if needed. At the front of the property is off-street parking for two cars and an attractive shared front garden. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The cottage is cleaned once a week or between bookings. Included in the price is all bed linen and towels (beach towels are not included).
