Fantastic Home from Home

  • 5 of 5

Nanny Goat Cottage is one of those hidden Gems you rarely come across, fortunatly we were lucky enough to enjoy a 2 week stay...The little details that most people dont see are all taken care off, from the High count sheets to the array of kitchen equipment....

We will definatley return to this property or the fantstic Broad oak (which is the BIG HOUSE on site)...I Had 2 issues with the property..

1,,WE HAD TO LEAVE :( AT THE END OF OUR HOLIDAY

2, PERHAPS A WELCOME PACK WITH BREAKFAST IN IT FOR THE FIRST MORNING...

Many thanks

Family Hooker

Very comfortable cottage in a tranquil rural setting .

Enjoyable & relaxing stay where the decor takes you to a bygone era. Unfortunately the laundry was unavailable when we really needed it & to far from any laundry facility.

Owner's Response: Hello.. So nice to hear from you ... Happy you enjoyed your stay, and we welcome you back anytime ... the laundry room is unavailable, but it does indicate that on the website when booking, as its been broken so many times.

a lovely cottage, but a little OTT. Purely personal opinion.

  • 3 of 5

It was amazing in most areas. I think it certainly was the most dramatic and flamboyant of the properties. You charge a lot and I think it is churlish that when weary travellers arrive there is no welcome pack:- not even salt and pepper! The beds were comfy but the towels were cheap and small. I don't think that you are 5 star but you could be with a little more attention to detail.
