About the property

3 bed, 2 bathroom in quiet location away from hussle & bussle. Mountain views.

The house is situated before the fields and mountains that form the wonderful backdrop to Pollenca Bay. In a quiet local residential area known as Siller, the accommodation comprises of master bedroom, double bedroom and twin room. There is an upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room which is great for rinsing off after a swim or trip to the beach. The lounge dining room is air conditioned.

The swimming POOL is shared between 11 other properties but most are owned by local residents who are at work so we get the pool to ourselves much of the time. The house opens directly on to the pool (although there is a gate and low wall to stop little people taking an unsupervised swim!) and there are plenty of sun loungers which are for use by all residents - they aren't the newest but they do the job!

The house is semi-detached. The GARDEN is private and enclosed, complete with a patio, table and 6 chairs. We particularly enjoy the ROOF TERRACE which is great for watching the sun disappear behind the mountains whilst sipping a G&T. Cont...

The villa is particularly set up with two groups in mind: families and cyclists/triathletes.

Nearby is a very well stocked Spar which bakes croissants, pan au chocolate and baguettes fresh every morning. There are also a couple of pubs and restuarants in the same location. There is a large supermarket 'Eroski' just a 5 minute walk away on the way in to town.

The beach is just under a mile away so whilst it is within walking distance we would recommend hiring a car so that you can easily get from the airport and also enjoy sight seeing around the island. By the time you've paid for a taxi both ways from the airport or for the shuttle bus it really isn't much more to hire a car.

It's a 10 minute walk into the town where there are lots of restaurants and cafes. It's a completely flat walk which is pushchair friendly.

About Hayley Barnard

We warmly welcome you to our family holiday home which is equally owned by brothers Simon and Matt and their twin sisters Debra and Hayley. When we aren't using the villa we rent it out to people looking for an easy family holiday or to cyclists and triathletes. We get many families returning year after year and also groups of cyclists coming to stay in the autumn and spring to enjoy the amazing cycling on offer on the Island.

Tim and Debra are both mad keen cyclists so they tend to travel in low season to train and also for Tim to compete in the Mallorca Ironman. That's why we've set up the villa to be comfortable for families and cyclists. It's our home from home and we hope it will be yours too.

Between us we have four children ranging in age from 4 to 13 so we have everything needed to make sure children have a fun holiday (from beach toys to broadband!) and to ensure the parents get to relax (recover!) too. Not surprisingly our children LOVE our visits to Mallorca and have grown up visiting every year (as we did - our parents owned a boat in the marina whilst we were growing up). The children practically live in the pool, interspersed with trips to the beach. The beaches really are stunning as is the whole bay area.

We love the location of this propety as it is right at the rear of the town of Puerto Pollenca, away from the very touristy bit and just before the mountains. We love that our neighbours are predominatly local people - friendly, hard working, honest folk.

People who stay in our house say that it is a very 'easy' holiday. The property is looked after by a lovely English couple called Lin and Ian who make sure the property is well maintined, clean and all the beds are made up with crisp white sheets ready for your stay. If there are any problems they are always on hand to help and live very close by. We are also available at any time by phone or email.

We're not precious about our holiday home! It's there to be enjoyed. We feel privileged to own it and we're happy that you can share it too!

Has everything you need for great break

We needed a rest with time to sleep, walk, read and eat. The house was well represented by the pictures. It was clean and ready for our arrival.

The kitchen is well equipped though we ate out most evenings. Some great restaurants nearby within walking distance. Limited because of time of year but still some good choices. The Centric got our top award, Enjoyed the wood burner and watched TV once we worked out how to set it up. WHere's a 2 year old when you need one! Pool was inviting but not in February.

We loved the quietness of the house, but so accessible to many places. We shall go back as soon as we can.

We are already telling our friends about it.

Things usually kick off in March with cycling groups but we love the house being used as a winter bolt-hole. We really enjoy stays in winter too. Some of our best breaks have been in late October/early November when we can light the wood burner and just relax. We look forward to welcoming you back again.

Great location and adequate space for five persons

A big thank you to Hayley and her family for the use of their lovely home. Location was excellent with a leisurely 15 minute walk into Puerto Pollensa. Space was more than adequate with all the facilities you would require. Nice quiet residential area however the taxi drivers do struggle to find the house. We were on a cycling holiday and able to securely store our bikes. Great access to the mountains for those climbs or south for some flat riding.A great time was had by all.

Perfect for Cyclists

Everything about the whole stay was excellent. Hayley was in constant communication from the booking all the way through to us returning. We were a group of 5 cyclists away for a few days cycling and the house is perfect. Very clean throughout and plenty of room for the 5 of us. We loved the bike hangers on the wall and are desperately trying to find similar ones for back home. We would go back again.

High standards

This is a much loved and well cared for family home, as shown by the high standard of equipment throughout and the many thoughtful extras. There is no need to bring or buy any pool or beach toys for children, as there are so many provided - I wish we'd found a place like this when our children were younger. The broadband is so good that our teenage sons were often reluctant to leave it to experience the many beautiful beaches and scenery in the area. The location suited us very well - on the edge of town, but a pleasant walk down a country lane. If you had very young children and no car you may prefer to be nearer to the beaches, but I think most people would appreciate this peaceful residential area. We also enjoyed the private outdoor space, particularly the roof terrace. We had a slight problem when we were there, but Hayley was very responsive and things were resolved quickly. I have no hesitation in recommending this place - it is so well-equipped with very genuine and helpful owners.

Perfect holiday villa for families or couples

We initially booked the villa for a family holiday but our (grown up) kids couldn't make it, but the cost was so reasonable and comparable to smaller apartments there was no need to change.

The location is great, being a quiet residential area, but close to a decent sized supermarket and walking distance to the town and beaches. It is also a 2 min walk to bus stops on the route to Pollensa town.

The villa is very well equipped and there is everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday.

The roof terrace is a real gem and the pool was virtually unused all week.

Hayley couldn't have been more helpful through the booking process.

Whilst the villa is a great family home, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for a relaxing couple's holiday. Very quiet and peaceful location.

Will definitely be booking for next year. Thank you Hayley and family.

One of the best holidays ever

Absolutely stunning house and location. I cannot praise the property or Hayley highly enough. This was our first family holiday for a few years, and it exceeded our expectations. My fiance is a big cyclist, so hired a bike locally and was spoilt for choice on local routes. The house is perfectly located for cycling. The pool was pretty much ours for our stay, and right outside the front door. The house itself is beautifully furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The beach and restaurants are a walk away, but we had hired a car to get around as well. I want to go back asap please! Thank you Hayley x
