About Tracey Anderson

Hi, we are the ‘Anderson’ family; Jim, Tracey, Phoebe and Lily.

We moved to Burton Joyce nearly 10 years ago to enjoy village life; country walks, fantastic local shops, pubs with real fires and near enough to enjoy the busy Nottingham City.

Outside of work, Jim enjoys training for sporting challenges and has recently completed the Nottingham Half Iron Man (he still has the scars to prove it!)

Tracey is a business and life coach, providing Human Resource solutions and coaching to local businesses and personal clients – to relax she enjoys the challenge of avoiding sport and fitness…

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Why Tracey Anderson chose Rushcliffe District

Interested in walking or running?

Get your walking boots or your running shoes on!

Surrounded by fields, the River Trent and bridle paths there is plenty for you to explore to find your own walking or running adventure.

Or enjoy one of six walks planned by the local history society, each between 4 and 10 miles in length.

Or is Freewheeling your thing?

A bike ride or tour might not seem an obvious way to explore but we can make it easy for you.

Hire one of our bikes to emerge yourself into the country or head to the City.

Alternatively bring your own bike and we can lock it away when you aren’t enjoying the great outdoors!

Follow the cycle path 7 miles to Nottingham City Center or take an easy 10-minute cycle to the Severn Trent River. Along the River you can enjoy crossing train tracks, passing through quiet farm tracks and snaking through fields and crossing streams…reaching idyllic country pubs which face the river Trent.

What makes this apartment unique

Business and Personal Coaching

As well as running the Applepip holiday annex, Tracey is a qualified and experienced business and life coach; with prior notice you can book an appointment with her during your stay (or arrange a treat for someone else).

She can work with you to help you to understand yourself better, to clarify what’s worrying you or holding you back or help you to be even better than you are today!

Tracey can provide you with a real holiday gift, returning home having identified ways you can move forward with clarity and confidence and remove real (or perceived) barriers to your progress.

She can talk through your issues and help you to clarify your strengths, interests and options.

She can help you gain confidence in your own perspective and trust your judgment when assessing your next steps.

If you are leading a team or a business, Tracey can provide you with time to consider if you are heading in the right direction and to explore if you are sometimes functioning on ‘auto pilot’ and if you want to be just a little bit better?

Find time for you. Time for you to concentrate on you and time for you to explore:

Your relationships with others

Being a parent and balancing the demands of work

Personal change and seeking a new direction

Your gravitas to ensure better results

Life’s opportunities open to you

Your next career steps

Wonderful, highly recommended!

  • 5 of 5

Lovely place, well equipped for longer stays as well as short ones and very clean. My husband and I stayed for 2 nights and would definitely come back again. Tracey was very welcoming and her little "welcome hamper" of essentials was more than most people would expect I imagine.

The photos don't quite do it justice.

Very private and perfectly located if you are looking to explore Nottingham City and the surrounding areas.

Thank you!

A very welcome apartment and very cosy

  • 5 of 5

We found everything we needed on our arrival, the fridge and cupboards full of food that you might need to buy after a day travelling. We found also toys and dvd's for the children and Tracey was very helpful with us. I recommend this apartment to anyone that wants to stay in a quit place.

We love Nottingham! We hope that once you visit you’ll love it too!

Applepip annex is located in the middle of the Nottinghamshire countryside, Burton Joyce.

Burton Joyce is just outside Nottingham and next to the River Trent, with winding lanes, fields and surrounded by an abundance of wildlife – perfect for relaxing and getting away from distractions of home and work.

The annex can be linked to the ‘big city’ either via a quick car drive, the local bus service or the Burton Joyce Railway Station.

There are numerous pubs locally, all of which are just a 10-minute walk, all serving food and having lovely outside areas to sit out and enjoy the countryside.

There is over 1,600 square miles of Nottinghamshire to explore so you won’t be bored, there are plenty of things to do every day of the year.

Enjoy the great outdoors discovering the fascinating network of caves and the enchanting Sherwood Forest or immerse yourself in the city’s history and culture, from Robin Hood and Nottingham to literary heroes such as DH Lawrence.

Nottinghamshire is fantastic for seeing world-class sport, amazing live performances, excellent nightlife and cutting edge art in some outstanding venues.

If you love shopping you will have a fantastic choice when it comes to indulging in a little shopping trip. If you venture into the heart of the City with its shopping centres, high-end arcades and Derby Road with its stretch of boutique shops, you will not fail to be blown away with the choice and you might find your purse is a little bit lighter afterwards.

Across Nottinghamshire you will find a host of different restaurants offering fine dining, vegetarian food, international flavours and afternoon teas
