It's a relatively new house, built in the traditional Provençal style, next door to the owner's property. You're in walking distance of the bustling (by Provençal standards) village of Mauries, with a backdrop of the stunning Alpilles Hills. The village is surrounded by olive groves as it's right in the heart of a region famous for the quality of its olive oil.

The owner has created a very comfortable 2-bedroom villa, ideal for a family of 4 or 2 couples.

It's beautifully furnished using local colours, fabrics and tiles, air-conditioned and has a shower room and separate toilet.

Access to the swimming pool is through a secure gate, just beyond your private and shaded terrace. The pool measures 8m x 4m with steps leading down from the shallow end.

Mouries is a village well serviced with bakers, butchers, grocers, bank and a post office.

There is a weekly market, cafes, bars and restaurants, all of which are within walking distance of this house, only a stroll away at 600 m from the centre of the village

Markets can also be found at a host of other local towns; St Remy de Provence, Maussane and Arles to mention just a few.

It's also a great location for touring and leisure; there is tennis in the village, a golf course just on the doorstep of the village, as are the cycling, walking and horse riding paths across the beautiful Alpilles

Mouries is also situated in the heart of one of the best the Olive growing regions of Provence - a panorama of Olive Groves with stunning limestone scenery as the backdrop surrounds the village.

You’ll find the nearest larger supermarket at St Martin de Crau, just 9 km away.

  • This villa is very well equipped with facilities to ensure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave (with oven setting and instructions) dishwasher and ample crockery for 4 people. There is a dining table and 4 chairs and the living space has 2 leather sofas, coffee table, T.V and video. One bedroom has a double bed, the other 2 singles and both are beautifully decorate with plenty of wardrobe space. There's a fully tiled shower room and separate toilet (which cleverly houses the washing machine). A big bonus if you're visiting in the summer is the air-conditioning, which can provide a welcome break from the warm Provençal sunshine.
