port de pollensia unit 1a 3 carr hortiensies

thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Port de Pollensia. The two large supermarkets were a couple of minutes away and it was a short walk to the front, the various shops and restaurants. The owner Miguel and his mum came on Saturday mornings and changed the bedding, bathroom towels and gave the place a quick clean. They were most pleasant and courteous. The apartment had ground floor access to the pool and in late September early October was very quiet. Also it was very spacious although the kitchen lacked a bit in ergonomics. Some smells travelled up the sink for neighbouring properties, the whole complex is on the verge of becoming a little tired but overall I'm sure anyone anticipating booking the apartment would be more than pleased with their stay.

Not as described; and really run down

This is NOT a two bedrooom apartment. The second bedroom is actually the end of another room partitioned off with a portable wooden screen. The other end of the room is the back door out to the pool. There are glass doors from the living room into the 'bedroom'. The 'bedroom' has no privacy and we needed access outside while it was in use.

The apartment was really shabby and run down. There were ants everywhere - even in the beds.

The pool was dirty, with scum marks round the outside. There was no parasol provided for outside so no shade for children.

There is no air con so the place is hot.

The kitchen was tiny and old. There is no kettle.

Interestingly when the owner came to collect the keys, he didn't ask if we had enjoyed our stay!
