A fabulous family friendly well equipped house near the beach for the perfect family holiday. Tumbler Rocks Retreat will offer everything a holiday should - whatever your preferences.

Providing modern surprisingly spacious yet cosy accommodation and fresh coastal interior styling, this is a great base to relax and take advantage of the beautiful sandy coastline just minutes away.

There is so much at hand . Set on the edge of Seahouses the house is an easy walk to the bustling, vibrant village with its working Harbour, pubs, eateries, children's activities, shops and boat trips to the fabulous Farne Islands -a sanctuary for 23 species of bird (including puffins) and seal . The house has member access to the nearby Ocean Club with swimming pool, gym and spa facilities (small charge applies). Alternatively take a stroll up the beautiful sands to Bamburgh with its stunning castle and fine eateries, you couldn't be better placed. Α multitude of additional attractions are a short car ride away. Bamburgh and Alnwick's majestic castle & famous gardens, Lindesfarne and it's causeway to name a few.

Closer to home make the most of the lovely walled garden with space to dine out or let the children play. Make the most of the long summer days with picnics, games and lazy days on the glorious beach . Once the sun goes down snuggle down next to a roaring wood fire or alternatively a little bit of luxury at home - retreat to the outside hot tub relax in the warm water and gaze at the stars.

The interior is furnished in a high quality country house style with a modern fresh vibe.

The ground floor has a mix of open plan and a separate snug. A through lounge diner boasts a dinning table seating 8 (extending to 10/12) and a relaxing lounge with sofas gathered around the wood burner with doors and views to the garden. A large screen TV and HI Fi with ability to connect to most media such as phones or personal music systems. The spacious kitchen diner with patio doors to the garden has a breakfast bar. A large fridge freezer , hob, oven and well stocked kitchen including dishwasher will allow you to create gourmet meals and entertain should you so wish.

A separate small lounge with TV/DVD allows additional space and comfort for larger families providing a perfect bolt hole for teenagers. This includes a larger than double size sofa bed to provide flexibility of sleeping arrangements across a 5th room if required, (bring own linen), A range of children's books ,games and toys are at hand.

Upstairs four spacious and sumptuous bedrooms ensure a good nights sleep accommodating 9 comfortably ( 2 King size, 1 Twin , 1 Triple (a full size double with a full single bunk above ),

One of the kingsize bedrooms is ensuite with a separate shower and toilet. A further newly refurbished family bathroom includes a toilet plus a bath with shower over, a third toilet is downstairs.

Baby equipment is available on request .

Outside there is an enclosed walled garden with decking and seating area for relaxing and alfresco eating. The 4 seater hot tub has a removable and lockable lid (no children under 8 years of age in the hot tub please). The garden is perfectly designed for containing children at play with a small children's park at the front of the house.

Access to a garage allows secure storage of bikes / diving equipment etc. A junior pool table and a further drinks fridge There is off street parking for 2 cars and additional free parking nearby,

Perfectly located for long lazy days on the beach, coastal walks or bike rides past Harbour and castles, boat trips to the Farne Islands and stunning site seeing trips just a short car ride away. Horse riding , golf , diving and water sports are all nearby. This is a perfect location .

All in all this is a stunning property that will leave you with precious memories and a longing to return time after time.

Whether it be a wander and relaxing on the beach, water-sports including Diving off the heritage coast or horse riding /cycling the miles of country lanes with spectacular views -there is something for everyone. At the end of the day you can look forward to cosy evenings with relaxed dining in, relaxing in the hot tub under the stars or evenings out at one of the many good pubs or restaurants the area has to offer.

Lovely spacious house in a stunning location

The house was vey spacious even for 6 adults, 2 children and a baby. It was clean, modern and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub is great for relaxing after full days at the stunning beaches. The owner and lady that met us at the house were friendly and ensured our stay was very enjoyable.

I Would recommend the Joiners Arms in Newton, the food was fantastic.

6 adults and 2 children stayed at Tumbler Rocks Retreat for my 40th birthday and we couldnt have asked for a better place to stay. The house is spacious, clean and well equipped. There was milk, bread and a lovely cake left for us to eat. The owner was friendly and communicated well. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to visit again in the future.

We had fish and chips at Neptunes which werevery good. We also had takeaway from the local Indian takeaway which was also very good.
