Treskiddy is a luxury three storey character cottage with estuary views, perfectly located within just a short stroll of the harbour, shops and numerous restaurants it's ideal for discerning couples. Sleeps up to four people including a maximum of two children 8 years and over.

Situated in the less busy and highly sought-after old part of Padstow town, Treskiddy enjoys an elevated position with lovely views across the rooftops to the estuary from the upper floors and views over Prideaux Place Deer Park.

The interior of Treskiddy is of the highest standard, professionally refurbished throughout, providing a beautiful holiday location for anyone seeking a luxury holiday home with light, contemporary and stylishly furnished accommodation.

Entrance to Treskiddy is via Fentonluna Lane; a stable door leads to the lobby with natural granite flooring, coat hooks and space for shoes etc. Two reclaimed pine latch doors lead to the cloakroom and ground floor living area with wide oak floorboards throughout.

CLOAKROOM: With natural granite flooring, Philippe Starck wash hand basin, tiled splash back and low-level WC, heated towel rail, wall mounted driftwood mirror, built in utility cupboard.

FULLY FITTED KITCHEN: The contemporary kitchen, dining area has a range of high quality white base & wall units with soft close doors, oak plate rack and concealed lighting. Incorporating built- in dishwasher, built-in electric oven & five ring gas CDA stainless steel hob with extractor over, microwave oven and grill, built-in washer/dryer, stainless steel sink with chrome tap, Fisher & Paykel American style fridge freezer with drinks dispenser and ice maker. Oak topped kitchen table, four white-painted Swedish style chairs with striped cushions.

THE SITTING AREA: Beautifully furnished with comfortable John Lewis sofas and arm chair, Neptune glass and chrome coffee table, Oka side tables and TV stand, hand made driftwood lamp table, luxury locally sourced feature lamps with linen shades, large flat screen Sony Bravia TV, with Freeview channels, internet access (iPlayer etc.) DVD player, IPod docking station. A glazed door leads to a gorgeous bespoke conservatory with natural slate flooring and white pinoleum blinds, comfortable seating, linen feather cushions, glass & chrome coffee and lamp tables and seaside wall art. Double doors open onto the patio garden.

BEDROOM 3: A super children’s or teenager room with bespoke white painted solid wood 3’ bunk bed, John Lewis sprung mattresses, fitted wardrobe and wall mounted TV/ DVD, perfect for keeping the children occupied, remember to bring their favourites!

Safety lock glazed door leads to a decked balcony with bistro table and two chairs.

SHOWER ROOM: Large walk-in shower with glass door, heated towel rail, Philippe Starck low level WC, contemporary circular glass wash hand basin, illuminated mirror, large white glass framed ‘White Company’ mirror, extractor fan, shelving, shaver point and Tuscan mosaic tiled flooring and walls.

MASTER BEDROOM: The “WOW” factor room! Stunning, dual aspect room with elevated panoramic views of the Camel Estuary from the king size bed. Neptune bedstead with John Lewis luxury multi pocket sprung mattress, (the most comfortable we could find and we are fussy!) Matching side tables with glass & linen lamps, chest of drawers, flat screen Sony TV, dressing table & chair, fitted wardrobes.

Wide oak floorboards add to the contemporary feel of this very special room.

EN-SUITE BATHROOM: New travertine tiled walk-in 'wet room' shower with monsoon shower head and hand held shower, Philippe Starck pedestal wash hand basin and low level WC, shaver point, mirror cabinet, two heated towel rails, two double glazed sash windows to front elevation, panelled bath with shower attachment, travertine tiled floor and walls.

GARDEN:Treskiddy has a lovely south-facing patio garden with 2 sun loungers, Neptune Cadiz all weather wicker glass topped circular table with 6 matching chairs, large parasol and a Weber BBQ…ideal for al-fresco dining!

There is access to the garden from High Street with a lockable gate and shed. Here you will find a wall mounted tap to wash off the sand from your day on the beach!

Absolute heaven!

We have stayed in some wonderful rental properties all over the world and this beautifully appointed house is right up with the very best. Spotlessly clean, super comfortable bed and sofas, superbly equipped kitchen. And really great artwork, driftwood lamps etc and lovely seasidey touches. We particularly enjoyed the conservatory and gorgeous little garden.

Situated up a hill a few hundred yards from the bustling harbour

you could be in another world. Really peaceful and lovely views from the master bedroom of the deer park and the estuary. I have run out of superlatives but the shower was fab.

We cannot wait to return.

Stunning property, great location

From the original booking to return of damage deposit the owner could not have been more efficient.

The property itself is excellently maintained and cleaned to a very high standard. It is well equipped and very welcoming. We felt at home from the moment we stepped though the door. The listing and photographs are very accurate and the facilities more than live up to the 5 star gold rating. The views from the master bedroom are a highlight, changing constantly throughout the day. We even spent time deer watching.

We would not hesitate to recommend this property and hope to return soon.

Enjoyable winter break

Immaculate, well appointed property, entirely as described. Within a very short walk from Padstow harbour and town. Easy access to wonderful walking - Camel estuary, coastal path, inland walks and of course beautiful beaches. We had though we might find many local businesses closed due to our visit in January, however only a couple of places were closed for refurb and Padstow lived up to its foodie reputation. Excellent customer service and communications with owner. Highly recommended.

Our best Padstow find!

We have spent many happy holidays in Padstow and stayed in many different cottages. We choose Treskiddy as the sleeping arrangements worked well for us as a family of 4 with an 11 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. The decor and the furnishings were top quality. It was also really useful to have the conservatory as an extra living space to relax - it became our jigsaw puzzle room! I would highly recommend this property not only for its gorgeous interior but also for its superb location. Very close to the harbour yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle so tranquil and relaxing. It is was a super find for us - Thank you!

Wonderful week in a wonderful house!

Well where can I start! Couldn't have picked a better house or a better week. The house was immaculate, modern, stylish, yet still cosy. As a family of four with two elder children this was our fifth time in Padstow. We have stayed in some very nice properties over the years but without a shadow of a doubt Treskiddy has been the best. With such good weather throughout the week of course the holiday was made that little bit better but the perfect location of the house made it possible to enjoy. Just a few minutes walk from Padstow harbour and estuary and less than a ten minute drive to Trevone and Harlyn bay (fantastic beaches) where my boy and girl enjoyed surfing and body boarding while my husband and I took a stroll to enjoy the scenic views along the coast. After a day at the beach or biking along the Camel trail it was nice to come back to the house to rest, knowing we were yards away from a variety of fantastic places to eat. All in all a fantastic holiday! I will definitely be returning to Treskiddy. :)

Treskiddy is ideally located within easy walking distance of Padstow's numerous amenities.

The grounds of Prideaux Place are directly opposite Treskiddy, an historic Elizabethan house set within it's own deer park offering afternoon tea in an idylic setting and music evenings throughout the summer. A short stroll from the house along St Saviour's Lane leads to panoramic elevated views of the Camel Estuary and across to Rock. From here you can access the sandy beaches of St Georges Cove, Harbour Cove and Hawkers Cove.

With a picturesque traditional Cornish harbour surrounded by quaint shops, excellent restaurants and lovely golden sand beaches, Padstow is ideal for couples, friends and families of all ages.

World class restaurants include Rick Stein's seafood restaurant, Paul Ainsworth Number 6 Michelin Star restaurant, Nathan Outlaw's 2 Michelin Star restaurant at Rock and Jamie Oliver's Fifteen in Watergate Bay (15 minutes drive) among many other restaurants and cafes in Padstow too numerous to mention, you really are spoilt for choice...foodie heaven!

The surrounding scenery is of outstanding natural beauty, with so many activities to choose from; stunning walks along the South West coastal path which runs through Padstow, cycling along the Camel Trail, spectacular scenery, dramatic headland and beautiful sandy beaches to be enjoyed all year round, golf (Championship golf course at Trevose and the award winning course at St.Enedoc in Rock), excellent water sports on the Camel Estuary, surfing and kite surfing (lessons can be enjoyed at Rock, Watergate Bay and Newquay) and sailing (also available from Rock), deep sea fishing, (trips leave from Padstow harbour) and shore fishing can be enjoyed in Constantine Bay, horse riding is also available (Tresallyn Riding Stables), crazy golf, a good old fashioned family fun game at Greens Cafe with elevated views and delicious home-made food set just above the harbour, or maybe you might just prefer to spend a lazy day on the beach building sand castles and enjoying a locally baked real Cornish Pasty from the award winning Chough bakery or Rick Steins patisserie!
